Boyd) a post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities. Correct weight for this event was delayed to allow C. Parish (AAGAS) placed second, and that horse s connections to view the photo for first placing. RACE 2: CARLO BITTOTO MEMORIAL HANDICAP 1250 metres LEFT HAND MAN (R. Hurdle) rider reported that the gelding was off the bridle throughout the event, failed to respond to his riding and felt very awkward in its action. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities. BE MY STAR (J. Holder) a post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities. KEMALPASA (J. Toeroek) laid in, in the straight. KENYAN WONDER (C. Caserta) raced keenly in the early stages of the event. Near the entrance to the straight, when attempting to improve into a tight run between AVORA SUN and CELEBRITY REIGN, was unable to establish running and was obliged to be steadied for several strides when awkward between the heels of these two runners, and thereafter had to alter course to the outside to obtain clear running. AVORA SUN (G. Cartwright) raced greenly in the straight. RACE 3: 3 SALISBURY INTER SOCCER CLUB THREE-YEA YEAR-OLD MAIDEN PLATE 1000 metres CHUCKY (S. Cahill) awkward to begin. Near the 150 metres shifted out to improve and became awkwardly placed on the heels of STAR PARFAIT, which laid in and shifted, was obliged to be steadied and altered course to the outside of that horse s outside to obtain clear running. COUNTER DRIVE (J. Holder) began awkwardly, shifted in and contacted TYCOON TILY. A postrace veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities. PIERRO'S PROMISE (G. Cartwright) slow to begin. THUNDERBOLT TWO (J. Benbow) trainer, Mr B. Stanley, advised Stewards prior to the event of a change of tactics in that he would instruct his rider to attempt to settle with cover behind the leaders. STAR PARFAIT (K. Crowther) trainer, Mr D. Jolly, advised Stewards prior to the event of a change of tactics in that he would instruct his rider to attempt not to lead in this event. Awkward and slow to begin. Raced keenly in the early stages of the event. Near the 150 metres laid in and shifted in across the running of CHUCKY, which shifted out to improve. TYCOON TILY (C. RACE 3: 3 SALISBURY INTER SOCCER CLUB THREE-YEAR YEAR-OLD MAIDEN PLATE 1000 metres (cont d) YULONG STAR (C. Caserta) awkward to begin. Rider explained that his instructions were similar to the instructions provided to J. Kah at this horse s previous start, which were to allow the horse to settle where comfortable. He added that after beginning awkwardly he allowed the horse to find its own rhythm, but thereafter it did not handle the turn and laid out from that point in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities. Lost its off fore plate during the event. RACE 4: WHITE MARQUEE HANDICAP - 1000 metres ONE MORE DAISY (K. Crowther) rider reported the mare was disappointing in its performance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities. MYSTIFIED (C. Parish) a post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities. IRISH MINT (J. Toeroek) laid out in the straight. RACE 5: THE ASPIRE HANDICAP - 125 250 0 metres JUST A BIGGER DASH (K. Crowther) laid in, in the straight. COUNTER SPIN (J. Holder) laid out in the straight. COOL MAVERICK (C. Parish) near the 1000 metres shifted in and inconvenienced PALE ALE. Rider reminded of his obligations when shifting ground. MYSTICANO (C. Caserta) held up for a short distance approaching the entrance to the straight and shortly thereafter attempted to shift FRANCE S BOY wider on the track to gain clear ground but was unable to do so and as a consequence was held up behind PALE ALE and to the inside of FRANCE S BOY until approaching the 200 metres. PALE ALE (E. Finnegan) near the 1000 metres had to be momentarily steadied when COOL MAVERICK shifted in. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities. FRANCE'S BOY (G. Cartwright) awkward to begin. Contacted near the entrance to the straight by MYSTICANO, which shifted out to improve. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities. CHAROSSA (A. Jordsjo) near the 800 metres got its head up and raced ungenerously for a number of strides. RACE 6: TABLE AND CHAIR HANDICAP - 1400 metres ECLAIR CHOICE (D. Caboche) raced keenly in the early stages of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a cardiac arrhythmia. Trainer, Mr P. Stokes, was advised that the results of an ECG are to be forwarded to the TRSA Veterinary Surgeon and a Veterinary Certificate of Fitness would be required prior to the gelding performing satisfactorily in an Official Barrier Trial.
