Computer Drafted Rosters Our new system, Blue Sombrero, automatically drafts teams. Only pairing requests will be made for the children of Head Coach and Assistant Coach no other requests will be honored. Uniforms are blind ordered based on 46+ years of experience and distributed to players via best-fit available method. Only uniform changes will be made for drastic sizing issues.

Practices / Games Coaches determine practice nights and locations. Number of practices per week is determined by age group. U4-U8: 1 practice per week U10-U14: 1-2 practices/week Practices are not allowed at Oak Grove Please respect the neighborhood parks, we are a "guest" in these neighborhood parks

Practice Locations 90+ teams will be looking for space for practices along with other community organizations. All of the Centerville-Washington Township Parks are public. Please try to work together. Please Note - fields / green space cannot be reserved. Most community parks do not have goals but rather a large amount of green space. Not every practice or team needs a goal. Trainings, Scheduling and Make-Ups David Ashdown Rec Scheduler Works with CWPD to create game schedule, field usage for trainings and make ups. David is our one point of contact with the Parks District. Keeps the master schedule. Please do not call the Parks District to re-schedule games due to conflict or make-ups.

Who Plays Where? Oak Grove is Broken down into different sections for different field sizes. 40 s fields (includes #39) West side as you drive in from Social Row. Mostly played by U8-U12. 50 s fields centrally located in the middle of Oak Grove. These are 11v11 fields U14 & High School 60 s field East side of park, abuts Gebhart Road. Used by U5-U8. Please note that is unlawful to park along Gebhart Road.

Field Status Updates for CWPD Fields Option 1: Go to: www.cwpd.org. Click on the Athletic Field Status link on the right side of the page or hover over the Athletics tab near the top of the page and click on field status. Check field status (red is closed, green is open, yellow is not scheduled,? is game time decision). Option 2: Go to www.rainoutline.com In the search box that says find a Rainout Line, type in Centerville-Washington Park District. Search for Centerville- Washington Park District and click on the name once the page finds our site. All fields are listed. Check field status (red is closed, green is open, yellow is not scheduled,? is game time decision). Option 3 (Mobile app): Search for Rainoutline.com in the Apple App Store or Android Market Once the app is downloaded, open the app and search for Centerville-Washington Park District. Click on the option for Centerville-Washington Park District.

To Sign up for text or email alerts Go to www.rainoutline.com In the Find a Rainout Line search box, type Centerville-Washington Park District. Search for Centerville- Washington Park District and click on the name once the page finds our site. Click on the link on the side of the page that says email and text alerts. Click on either the email or text option near the center of the page. Follow instructions. Repeat if so desired for either text or email alerts. Rainout Line Tip: When you sign up for email or text alerts you will receive an email or text for EVERY field you sign up for. We would recommend only signing up for the fields you are scheduled on. The phone number for the new rainout line is 937-265-2201. Phone line will update automatically when website is updated. Please keep in mind that you must listen to the entire message if you do not enter your field # extension. We may have up to 70 fields to update on one message. The extensions are listed on the website. Field numbers and field extensions may have changed for 2016.

Concussion Signs & Symptoms Athletes do not have to be knocked out to have a concussion. In fact, less than 1 out of 10 concussions result in loss of consciousness. Concussion symptoms can develop right away or up to 48 hours after the injury. Signs Observed by Parents of Guardians: Appears dazed or stunned. Is confused about assignment or position. Forgets plays. Is unsure of game, score or opponent. Moves clumsily. Answers questions slowly. Loses consciousness (even briefly). Shows behavior or personality changes (irritability, sadness, nervousness, feeling more emotional). Can t recall events before or after hit or fall.
