The Pride had three players reach eight points each. Sophomore Danielle Nennig (Wrightstown, Wis./Wrightstown) had eight points and five rebounds. Freshman Kelli Damman (Fort Wayne, Ind./Carroll) recorded eight points and junior Bayley Goodman (Fowler, Ind./Benton Central) added eight points in the setback. PNW outscored GVSU 8-7 the rest of the first quarter after the Lakers led 14-3 in the early stages of game including a back-to-back buckets by Damman, which was a layup and a three-pointer. Goodman ended the first half with a three-pointer and Damman started the second half with a trifecta to make it 42-24 GVSU. GVSU had control of the rest of the way. PAGE 1

LEADERS IN THE CLASSROOM The Purdue University Northwest women s basketball program showed their dominance in the classroom during the 2017-18 academic year, earning the top GPA in the NCAA after the Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll was announced by the Women s Basketball Coaches Association this summer. The Pride earned a 3.755 GPA, which was better than over 200 schools in the NCAA and finished second out of all the respective divisions, including NCAA Div. I, Div. II, Div. He has continued to transform the women s basketball program. Dworkin Student Services and Activities Complex, bringsevenmoreexcitementtothepridedepartment. FITNESS & RECREATION CENTER HAMMOND CAMPUS The Purdue Northwest Fitness & Recreation Center is also home to the Pride volleyball and men s and women s basketball teams. The Fitness & Rec Center also houses offices and conference rooms for Purdue NorthwestAthleticsalongwithtworacquetballcourts, locker rooms, and a running track. The gym floor was renovated in the summer of 2016 with a complete redesign and the addition of several new features due to rule changes in the NCAA.
