REGISTRATION INFORMATION Registration can be done online. You can register at www.truesport.com Number pick-up will be available Friday night at the Holiday Inn from 7pm until 10pm. We strongly recommend riders picking up their numbers Friday night. Number pick-up will also be available starting at 6:30am until 7:30am at the TT, then from 10:00am until 3:30pm at the Criterium, and on Sunday morning from 7:30am until 8:30am at the RR. Event Rules 1. Georgia Cycling Gran Prix: o For races/categories with 25 or more starters points will be awarded from 25 down to 1 point. See chart below o o Points will be awarded at each of the GCGP events. Points are awarded for the individual stages only not for stage race/omnium overall results. Example a race with 14 starters, the winner would get 14 points and last place would 1 point. 2. Stage Race: The Regions Race Weekend Stage Race will be scored on time. This event is based on the TT, Crit, and Road Race. Riders MUST participate in all three events to be eligible for the Overall Stage for the weekend. Time bonuses and points will be allotted to riders for MAR, KOM, and stage placings. If you miss your start time, you will be considered as a DNS (Did Not Start) and will be out of the GC. Parking: Parking will be located at the Civic Center. The ROAD IS CLOSED, IF YOU WANT TO PRE-DRIVE THE COURSE, YOU MUST DO SO BEFORE 6:30am ON SATURDAY MORNING.
Podiums for TT: Podiums will be before the beginning of that category s Crit Race, e.g. Womens Cat 3/4 TT podium will be done before the Womens Cat 3/4 Crit Race. 4. Criterium: MAR: announced by bell on various laps for primes and time bonuses Free Lap: In the event of a mishap or mechanical problem, riders may receive a free lap until 3 laps to go. An official will inspect all riders. Wheel Pit: All racers will need to label their own wheels. Labels will be provided for at number pickup. Wheels in, wheels out. Do not leave without picking up your wheels. The event organizer, officials, sponsors, vehicle drivers are not responsible for your wheels! Warm-ups on Course: Riders will be allowed to ride one lap on the course prior to the start of the next event. Riders from the previous race will be asked to leave the course prior to the start of the next event. Parking: Parking is at the Civic Center. Podiums for Criterium: podiums will be 15 minutes after the results are announced as long as there is no protest. Leader s Jersey Award: will be 30 minutes after the finish of the race. Jersey will be awarded to leader. 5. Road Race: KOM: awarded every lap at location as shown on map for time bonuses. Lead Vehicles: Lead Vehicles will be present as are available. Police Officers will be at busy intersections on the course. Moto Support: Moto support will be guaranteed for the Men s Pro and the Men s Cat 3 race (as these are normally the largest fields and breakaways are most common). If additional motos are available, they will assist other categories. Trail/Wheel Vehicles: All racers will need to label their own wheels.
Each category will have trail/wheel vehicles. All riders are responsible for getting their wheels to the vehicle (wheels in, wheels out). Upon completion of your race, you must immediately pick up your wheels. The event organizer, officials, sponsors, vehicle drivers are not responsible for your wheels! If you fall behind the trail vehicles, you are considered dropped from the race and must obey traffic laws. Centerline Rule: Centerline rule will be in effect and will be strictly enforced by event officials. Course Markings: All turns will be marked. Volunteer Marshals will be present at important turns. Police will be located at busy intersections. All riders are encouraged to keep a course map. Feed Zone: All feeding during the road race shall be conducted in the designated area only, which is located just past the intersection of Mossy Dell and New York. Feeding is allowed on the right side only. Please do not throw trash along side the course. LITTERING IS AN AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATION. Podiums for Road Race: podiums will be 15 minutes after the results are posted as long as there is no protest. Stage Race Podiums: will follow the road race podium.

Courses TT With over ten turns in 3.6 Km, the TT will have riders ducking and diving and stomping on their pedals as they weave through the streets of downtown.
Crit Competitors will revisit the TT course for the criterium. The figure-eight, 2 km course through downtown Albany is ideal for testing the legs as the season's first criterium.
