The 22-yearold batted.314 (11-for-35) with four runs and seven RBI during the stretch... The Pirates number two prospect according to Baseball America Walker also leads the Tribe with 16 home runs and 77 RBI on the season... The 16 home runs are a single season career high for Walker and give him a total of 50 in his short Minor League career. CLOSE CONTESTS: With their second straight one-run defeat on Tuesday night at Durham, the Indians have now been involved in a one-run contest in 13 of their last 18 games... The 24-year-old hit.244 with one homer and 13 RBI in 36 games for Triple-A Syracuse (N.Y.) earlier this season... He also made his Major League debut with the Blue Jays on April 23, going 0-for-4 in one game before being optioned back down. Aug 27 -- RHP Jesse Chavez -- delete: Jesse Chavez has been promoted to Pittsburgh and added to the Pirates 40-man roster... The 24-year-old turned in a 2-6 record, 3.80 ERA, and a team-best 14 saves and 70 strikeouts in 51 Triple-A appearances this season... Chavez entered the campaign with a 19-24 record and 4.46 ERA in 183 Minor League appearances... This is the first Major League call up of Chavez s five year professional career. Aug. 25 -- RHP T.J. Beam -- add: T.J. Beam was optioned from Pittsburgh to Indianapolis... The 27-year-old went 1-1 with a save and 4.01 ERA in 20 appearances with the Pirates from June 22 to Aug. 22...
