Bats LHP Bobby Livingston (3-3, 4.98) vs. Indians RHP Daniel McCutchen (6-8, 3.94) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHAT A STRETCH FOR WALKER: Indians INF Neil Walker saw his eight game hitting streak come to an end on Tuesday evening against Durham... The 22-yearold batted.314 (11-for-35) with four runs and seven RBI during the stretch... The Pirates number two prospect according to Baseball America Walker also leads the Tribe with 16 home runs and 77 RBI on the season... The 16 home runs are a single season career high for Walker and give him a total of 50 in his short Minor League career. CLOSE CONTESTS: With their second straight one-run defeat on Tuesday night at Durham, the Indians have now been involved in a one-run contest in 13 of their last 18 games... The Tribe is now 25-31 in one-run games this season... The 31 losses are the most in the International League this season, while the 25 wins are the second most behind Columbus 26 victories... The Tribe went 17-21 in one-run contests a year ago. LET S GO STREAKING: Indians OF Andrew McCutchen has collected a hit six straight games and INF Luis Cruz has recorded a base knock in five straight contests... McCutchen is batting.333 (7-for-21) with four runs and a RBI during the stretch, while Cruz owns a.363 average (8-for-22) with five runs and four RBI... McCutchen also leads the team in runs (72), hits (136), walks (66), stolen bases (31) and on-base percentage (.371). AVOID THE LONG BALL: In his six starts with the Indians this season RHP Daniel McCutchen has allowed 19 runs in 37.0 innings... Of those 19 runs 12 have come by way of the long ball, including five solo shots... During the stretch McCutchen has posted a 2-2 record, and has gone at least six innings in five of the six starts.
