We will get our forms in before the big rush as the state office, allowing us to really start the new year projects in November. A self-paced tutorial was developed last year. It is available for families at http://4h.missouri.edu/elearn/sf15youth/story.html A few key reminders: No payment is required; however, the 4HOnline steps do require users to click through some screens that pertain to that process. Email confirmations will be sent to families via the email address listed in the 4HOnline family profile. We will not snail mail confirmations. Be sure your email address is up to date and that you check that email account. The 4-H Building Guidelines, limits, contest days, special events, etc. are located at http://4h.missouri.edu/statefair/4hbuildinginfo and also attached. State Fair Dog Show We have added a new event this year called a "Dog Bowl". Please encourage you kids to come and participate at the state show even if you aren't getting to bring your dog. This even is just to test your knowledge of dogs in general. We are hoping this will be a nice, fun event for all! Here are just a few tips I can give you: Make sure to read the rules as we have quite a system set up - http://4h.missouri.edu/dogs/dogbowl. Know your dog parts (common and uncommon names) Know the disease, disorders, and parasites and if specific to breed Know the breeds by picture (I do not intend to do really tough ones at least for now!) Understand the AKC rules for each obedience level and showmanship. Have Fun!!
