Editor: C/1Lt Petrequin Assistant Editor : C/1Lt Snyder Upcoming Events Commander s Call.12/07 Career Week...12/10-17 Volume XIX, Issue 3 16 Nov18 Vice s Box Hello everyone! I m Preston Andreasen and I m glad to have the opportunity to talk to you guys again this month. I hope everyone is enjoying their time in the corps so far this year and I know for the rest of the year we have a lot of exciting events coming up! First of all, though, thank you to everyone that came out for Horses4Heros! We had a fantastic turnout and I know that we can continue that trend for all of our community service events. Then for events, the biggest coming up is our annual Commander s Call and I know all you flight commanders are excited to have the opportunity to compete against the other flights. Also, flight leadership make sure you guys are practicing with your flights so you can win! The winner of commander s call gets the stream to put on their guide-on, as well as a hoop during field day in May which gives the winner a huge advantage. Otherwise, have great day everyone and let's continue to make this year fantastic. -C/Capt Andreasen Just keep moving forward. -Meet the Robinsons Page 1.. Vice s Box Page 2.. This month we have a lot to do including, and many more things. Commanders Call is coming up really fast on December 7th, one B and C team will be performing the sequence for the whole Corp to watch. Tryouts for Commanders Call will be on December 6th to see who will be performing the next day, so that means... Practice! Also keep in mind Canyon Springs Drill Meet is in almost 2 months on January 26th, only one other team goes with A team to compete so make sure you're getting in practice, asking me for help and to look over your teams. -C/CMSgt Maitland Color Guard CC Teams Hey guys! Commander s Call and the 8th- Grade Performance are coming up! I'm proud that we're about to make it through this semester as a family, but there s still more to come! Thanksgiving break is nearly upon us, hooray! However, you don t want to become complacent with what you have achieved. Everybody needs to keep working hard, and not fall behind, in preparation for Commanders Call. We don t want to embarrass the corps in front of our parents. We want to show them how hard we are working! Also, don t forget that career week is coming in December. If you know someone who has a cool job, or has something interesting and beneficial to say to our classes, don t hesitate to give them a form to fill out! Remember, get involved!
