Redesigned in 1920 by famed architect Walter Travis, who also designed Westchester Country Club, Sea Island, and Jekyll Island Golf Club, this golf course has come to prominence for its layout, its pristine conditions, and especially its famed greens. The pool complex rivals any vacation resort, with a tunnel slide and shallow areas for the young swimmers and hot tub, cocktails and food service all day and evening. After you enjoy golf - or tennis, or the swimming pool - the club has several options available for your dining pleasure, including a formal dining room, and an al Fresco outdoor patio dining area. Additional plans are in the works for an outdoor bar and lounge area for post-golf relaxing. Pool, social and dining memberships are also available for non-golfers.
