DU: The Company Unforgettably Eclectic and Refreshing DU: The Co. consists of two professional performance groups in NYC and Hawai i, with an additional partner troupe in Shanghai. The Company is known for its eclectic dance performances, fusing street styles with contemporary and traditional dances. DU: The Co. custom designs performances, including music production & artistic direction, for our clients special events. Dance Festivals & Events Dancers Unlimited spearheads National Dance Week Hawaii, Hawaii s premier dance festival. The festival features weeklong free classes, master workshops, dance scholarships, performances, competitions, and non-profit fundraisers. The friendly volunteer-run festival brings dance groupsand enthusiasts together in a supportive and non-competitive environment. About The Director Linda Kuo As the Director of Dancers Unlimited and the Regional Director for National Dance Week Hawaii, Linda Kuo has worked extensively with partners and choreographers in Hawaii, Shanghai, L.A, and New York to create international dance performances, events and tours. Linda has a diverse and well-rounded dance background in Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Hip Hop, House, Voguing, Waacking, and the Hula. She trained intensively at Broadway Dance Center and Peridance Capezio Center, with some of the world s most celebrated choreographers and teachers in NYC. Professionally, Linda has performed on stages through Asia and the U.S: Shanghai World Expo (featured performer), Dance 2XS Urbanite Beijing (guest performer), Peter Pan (Asia Tour), Off-Broadway show / tour Katrina: A Whole Lotta Water (soloist), America s Best Dance Crew (MTV On-Demand), The View featuring Faith Hill (ABC), Network Memorial Day Concert (ABC), Dances From Da Hood (MTV), Puma, Kia Motors, Dos Equis Beer, and Semi-Precious Weapons. Her choreography credits in addition to DU: The Co. repertoire include Hong Kong singers Sheren Tang s and Liza Wang s performances at Atlantic City Taj Mahal, American Basketball Association (Honolulu Pegasus and Brooklyn Wonders), Comandante Zero featuring Wu-Tang Clan, Honolulu Narcissus Pageant, and various concerts at Hawaii Theatre. Linda was also a guest choreographer for the Chinese national TV program, Me & City Children s Talent Contest. As a performance producer, Linda presented the sold-out Essence of Hawaii China tour in 2013, and co-produced music videos for Chinese celebrities with Creative Center Shanghai. She is currently the curator and producer for reasonslegacy 2 performances at Mark Morris Dance Theatre in New York.
