SWIM COURSE Distance: 3/4 Mile around peninsula The reservoir offers some of the cleanest water around, and features 65 to 70 degree water temperature in May. Wetsuits are encouraged for safety, but are not mandatory. The swim course is well marked and participants swim around a natural wooded and tree-lined peninsula. You, the athlete, are the simplest and best way to keep the bike course safe and draft free. We will have USA Triathlon Officials out on the bike course, but you personally need to help the sport and yourself by simply backing out of packs, slowing down or verbally mentioning to other athletes not to draft. 12 MORGAN HILL SPRINT TRIATHLON ATHLETE GUIDE

RUN COURSE Distance: 5 Miles, out and back on UVAS Rd Click here to see the 5 mile run course in a larger printable format. Online run course map (Click here): The 5 mile run will be out and back on Uvas Rd. It is completely paved and lined with trees and right along UVAS Reservoir.
