2017-18 TSU BASKETBALL INFORMATION } } ABOUT THE COACH JESSICA KERN HEAD COACH 1ST SEASON PENN STATE 02 } } ABOUT THE TEAM } Tennessee State, a member of the Ohio Valley Conference, is an NCAA Division I institution located in Nashville, Tenn. } The Lady Tigers have six returners from last year s squad and nine newcomers, including seven freshmen and two transfers, that will not compete this season. } Of the returners, Kaliya Griffin was the only consistent starter last season. Maxine Beard, averaged 19.7 minutes per game and made 11 starts in 2016-17.
