GENERAL INFORMATION JULY 15-17, 2015 EMBASSY SUITES COOL SPRINGS, FRANKLIN, TN ROOMS/RESERVATIONS The Embassy Suites, Cool Springs, Franklin, Tennessee is the site of the 2015 Mid-Year Meeting. The room rate is $154 Single and $164 Double occupancy plus 17.25% sales and room taxes. Each of the suites is equipped with a separate living area with a sleeper sofa, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron with board, Wi-Fi, two televisions and two telephones. Each person is responsible for making his or her own reservations. Reservations may be called in to The Embassy Suites directly at 615-515-5151. To insure receiving the special convention rate, you must identify the group name (Tennessee Road Builders Association) or the group code TRB when making reservations. GOLF TOURNAMENT JULY 16-17, 2015 VANDERBILT LEGENDS CLUB, FRANKLIN, TN All golf players will be placed in either category A, B, C or D according to their handicaps. Drawing of foursomes will be during the reception, Wednesday evening, July 15, 2015. One player from each category will be drawn to make up the foursome. We will have foursomes, unless the demand is great enough to have either fivesomes or sixsomes. Winners will be based on their combined Thursday and Friday score. Play will be: four person scramble. First round is Thursday - Shot Gun Start at 1:00 P.M. Second round is Friday - Shot Gun Start at 8:00 A.M. Mulligans are $20 per player for two mulligans (limit one per player each day) with the proceeds going to the THC/PAC. SPORTING CLAY TOURNAMENT NASHVILLE GUN CLUB/TENNESSEE CLAY TARGET COMPLEX JULY 16-17, 2015 The primary event will be an individual shooter 100 Round Sporting Clay Tournament. Scoring for this event will utilize the Lewis Class System. A detailed explanation of the Lewis Class System is available at www.ga-sportingclays.org/lewissystem.pdf. There will be one flight for each 15 shooters. Each flight will pay 5 places deep as listed below. The entry fee per shooter for the individual tournament is $180. Thursday afternoon beginning at 1:00 pm, we will have a practice session (cost of targets and ammo not included) at the Tennessee Clay Target Complex in Nashville. A coach will be available from 2:00-5:00 pm for lessons. Friday s event starts at 8:30 A.M., with continental breakfast followed by a 25 target warm up game of your choice. The 100 Round Individual Tournament will begin at 10:00 A.M. Following the tournament, we will have lunch and conclude with an awards ceremony. Mulligans are $20 per shooter for two (2) extra shots with the proceeds going to the THC/PAC. Friday s targets and ammo will be provided and rental guns (reservations required) will be available. You can, of course, bring your own gun (12 or 20 gauge).
