Now that they have had track experience Valegro, Diesel Magic and Meerkat Warrior are improving and will provide stiff competition. Montaigne shapes as hard a strong chance dropping in grade from 3 rd & fourth grade 2 starts back. Five of Spades appeared to have every chance last start but is well drawn and can run time. Gifted Pines is suited to the inside. Lady Perlita is a good beginner and she will head to the middle of the track. Chasing Rainbows has been off the scene for nearly 12 months but stewards trialled well enough to be competitive. His best time of 20.18 makes him the likely favourite. Evey Bonus has had one run here and didn t appear suited by box 8. She may need another couple of hit outs here to gain confidence. Campfire Kid is another whose best runs have been from wider boxes. Spike Tal is new here and has to contend with 2 wide runners drawn inside him. He may need more track experience. Second Solution is racing well but is only an average beginner which usually gets him into trouble. Two More Models raced well on his debut here last week but began well and headed for the fence. There could be early scrimmaging between boxes 1 to 5. Waltzing Banjo was in all sorts of trouble last week but Montrachet on her inside is not usually a good beginner. Waltzing Banjo should look for the middle to inside of the track and in doing so give Elly Banner a dream run. Jet Black Star and Eye Hate Cake were slow out last week if they maintain that pattern then Tweed Govenor s task maybe easier. Rear View has quick times to his credit but would probably want to swap boxes with Tweed governor. Haras Stevo started from box 7 at his first run here and appears to have drawn a favourable side except that Rear View will probably try to cross him early. Lenray bonus is new here but has the credentials to be very competitive. Banjo Blues missed the start last week and if he does again this will give Lenray Bonus a little help. Kenatay won last week from a similar draw in quick time. Carribean Red is new here and may need a run although Cakes Al Round on his outside is a bonus as it is a wide runner. Patient Vixen is new here and has drawn a tough 4 th grade for her debut especially as Cakes All round will pressure her early. Thanking peter is always competitive. La Bamba has not been here for a while and has drawn a hot field. Tiny Tiara returned to the straight and has scorched the turf in two wins here. He is a quick beginner and can run time. Hard to tip against him. It s Dyllan has the track experience and a vacant box beside him. He and Alpha Themis have the track knowledge to test Corykodi if he makes a mistake. Color Purple has now had three runs from inside draws here and looks set to go better from today s draw.
