PACIFIC NORTHWEST SHOW RULES In order to assure sufficient time for the judge s assessment and the smooth running of this event tests will be limited to 55 each day. Entries are FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE. Please get your entries in as soon as possible to avoid disappointment! Each horse is limited to FOUR under saddle classes and FOUR ground classes per day. Class Divisions Offered Walk/Jog Test Division Challenge Test Division Freestyle Division Walk/Jog/Lope Test Division Partnership Test Division Vaquero Test Division Gaited Test Division Rider Division Definition Open 18 years or older who does make a living or receive income from training, teaching or clinics Amateur 18 years or older who does not receive income from training, teaching or clinics Junior/Youth 17 and Under---must wear a helmet while mounted on the show grounds Note about gaited horses: Gaited horses may ride in any test division appropriate for their rider (Open, Am, Jr), but will be judged on the Walk/Jog/Lope gaits defined in the test. If the gaited horse cannot jog, this may result in a very low score. We would hope the gaited horses wholeheartedly support the Gaited Test Division, which is designed specifically for gaited horses. Cross entering tests and rider divisions is allowed if the definitions above apply. Riders are encouraged to memorize their tests. The use of a caller is not mandatory. Cowboy Dressage World allows the rider to use a caller of their choice, however, the ultimate responsibility for accurate and correct riding of the test falls upon the rider. If the rider chooses to use a caller, it is the rider's responsibility to arrange for one. Neither Cowboy Dressage World nor PNW Cowboy Dressage Show will be providing callers for riders. 1. ENTRIES MUST BE POSTMARKED BY JULY 19, 2017. Entry packets will not be given out until entry fees are paid.
