Monthly Lesson Fees The monthly lesson fee is $36, payable to the Comerford School of Irish Dance, and the hall rent is $7, payable to Celtic Arts Northwest for one lesson per week (double fees for two lessons per week). If there is more than one dancer in a family, the first dancer pays $7 hall rent per month and the second dancer and other siblings pay $5.50 hall rent each. These fees are due at the first lesson of each month to avoid a late payment fee. If you wish to attend an occasional second lesson per week, the fee is $15 per lesson payable to the Comerford School of Irish Dance (no additional hall fee). There is NO credit for missed lessons due to illness, vacations, travel, etc., but a dancer may attend either a second Seattle class or a Mercer Island class to make up for the missed lesson. Workshops Here s an opportunity to brush up on steps before the feis or to work on technique Kelly, Kieran, and Connor will teach a workshop on Saturday, February 1 at Dance Underground for Seattle class dancers. If there is a change in the lesson schedule, phone tree coordinators will contact you by e-mail, and/or you should check the school web page before coming to class. Because there are so many dancers in each class, please do not expect phone tree coordinators to contact you by phone it is your responsibility to check your e-mail or the Members page on the website for class schedule information, please. Lesson schedule changes will be posted on the Members page. The user name is tonyc and the password is heelsin. Please do not share this information with others this page is only for our dancers! Kudos Thank you to Lisa McCarthy and Keeney s Office Plus for donating a signature stamp to Celtic Arts Northwest. Applause to all the dancers (and thank you parents) who performed at Seattle University. The students really appreciated the performance. Jo Dooley has been helping out with the Seattle class feis entries; thank you Jo for preparing the Van Eire feis entries. And, Michelle Pertl spent part of the holidays finalizing our feis syllabus that was sent to all Western Canadian and Western US teachers. Thanks to all for your help! Questions? PLEASE check the information box and table at each class. There is often information posted at the class that is not in the newsletter so please check for news at each lesson! The information box has copies of newsletters, class phone lists, class clothing order forms, and feis registration forms for everyone as well as a list of used shoes and clothing for sale, special notices, and performance sign-up lists.
