The "Old Time Dust" is settling with excitement from the grand memories and new tunes in my head and heart to share! The feedback from everyone that attended the "Eighth Of January" Old Time weekend has been so overwhelmingly positive! The instructors, the mini concerts, Ben & Suzy's foodies, and George Gruhn's lecture ; ALL hit it out of the ball park! The Event Kicked off with a staff concert including Alan O'Bryant's special celebration song of the 200 th anniversary of the Battle of New Orleans. I can't thank everyone enough! It is a real treat for to see the vision of the Musical Heritage Center come to fruition. Seeing folks come from all over to experience, share and learn about Old Time Music in our little corner of the world in Pegram, TN! Special thanks to the folks that helped us sponsoring 6 kids to attend this event! Oh, and I must set the record straight; Cotton Music is the longest running music store in Nashville.
