NEWSLETTER APRIL 2019 dancefusion1@hotmail.com www.dancefusiontyrone.com Recital Information Dance Fusion's "Sweet Sixteen" Recital 2019 will be held at the Tyrone Area High School Auditorium Saturday, May 18 th. Dress Rehearsal will be at the High School: May 13th-16th th A dress rehearsal schedule will be available in May. Costumes Costumes are still arriving and being handed out! Once you receive your costume it should be hung up and placed in a garment or dry cleaning bag. Please label all parts of the costume with your child's name. Have an extra bag hanging with the costume to place any accessories, hair pieces, tights, etc. Please have costumes steamed and altered (as necessary) before picture week. All outstanding costume and tuition fees are due immediately. Recital tickets may not be purchased until all accounts are updated. Your dancer should arrive at the studio with their hair & make up done and their costume hanging in a garment bag. Dressing Room: Studio 2 / Photo Area: Studio 1 We will also be using this time as a mandatory costume check to make sure all accessories are being worn the same and costume alterations are being made as needed. If you are not planning on purchasing pictures, please send your dancer to be in the group class photo and to have their costume checked. Shoes/Tights for Picture Day & Recital Tights purchased through Dance Fusion will be handed out the second week of April. The shoe/tight requirements are listed on the back of this newsletter, as well as on our website. Hair / Make Up for Picture Day & Recital *All dancers hair is a Braided Bun. Make up for picture day should be applied much lighter than for a stage performance. Picture order forms need to be filled out for each picture and ready with payment on your picture day. Please mark on your envelope if you are using the picture for a program Ad. Don t forget to pick up a Program Ad order form. All ads for the Dance Fusion Recital Program will need to be returned to the studio with payment no later then Thursday, May 2 nd Recital Tickets ON SALE! Saturday, April 27th 10:00 am 12:00 pm at Dance Fusion. Senior Dancers are invited to purchase their tickets 15 minutes early. Tickets will also be on sale at the studio Mondays 5:30-6:00 Tuesdays 5:30-6:30 Thursdays 6:00-6:45 Tickets are $10.00 each. Dance Fusion Picture Week & Costume Check: Monday, April 29 Thursday, May 2nd, 2019 th th Class Photo Information and Instructions All Dance Fusion class photos will be taken at the Dance Fusion Studio during your regularly scheduled class time. Studio 2 is the Dressing Area Studio 1 is the Picture Area. All photo payments (cash or check) will be paid to Ray Kauffman Photography at the time of session. If dancers have more than one class, a separate check must accompany each envelope for each class picture. Dance Fusion asks that parents please stay in the dressing room area. If you are getting a program ad and wish to use a picture day photo, please check the envelope where it says use for program. Please bring your FULL COSTUME including: correct tights, shoes, hair pieces, gloves, and all other accessories. Please have all final preparations such as: steaming, altering, and cutting loose threads & tags off of costumes done before your picture day. No undergarments may show in any costume. Accessories All hair pieces should be placed to the right of the bun. All hair for picture day & recital is a braided bun. It is a new hairstyle this year and very easy!
