Nut ReMix Survival Guide 2014 We have a fabulous production in the works and want all of your efforts over the course of the fall to produce optimum results, so we ve put together a few reminders and instructions to make certain parents and student dancers are aware of expectations for performance week. Rehearsal and Performance Etiquette NBE expects all dancers to be well-mannered and respectful during rehearsals and performances. Please review the expectations with your child and instruct your dancer to only ask questions during rehearsals that are absolutely necessary and pertinent. Parents must sign in and sign out their dancer at the Cannon Center entrance at Exchange and Main. before and after each rehearsal and performance. PARENTS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED BACKSTAGE. Dancers will be expected to stay backstage and will not be allowed to roam the building or backstage area while at the Cannon Center. They must stay in their ASSIGNED dressing rooms until called. Boys may not enter the girls dressing rooms and vice versa. Parent volunteers will be assigned to the appropriate dressing rooms and will serve as room monitors in addition to helping with costumes and make-up. All dancers MUST show complete respect for any staff member or volunteer and each other. Parents and guests who are not signed up to volunteer may NOT enter the back stage area. This rule will be strictly enforced. Must-have Supplies for Dress Rehearsals and Performances (Pack these items in a bag with your dancer s name on it, write name on all supplies.
