Welcome to the 2017-18 Surf Sports and Junior Surf Season. Surf Life Saving Northern Region welcomes you to our 2017-18 Surf Sports and Junior Surf season. The success of all our events is always dependent on the hard work of many people behind the scenes, mainly volunteers. In particular the Sports operational committee and Junior Surf operational committee, their work in planning and preparing for the season is vast. Thank you also to all the officials, administrators, coaches, and team managers who are also vital to our events. To all the participants, enjoy the events, and the camaraderie; and above all perform to the best of your ability so that regardless of the outcome you are proud of yourself as an individual. Our aim is to provide events that showcase and grow the sport activities and participation within our Lifesaving organisation. We look forward to seeing you at the beach, and on the water! 3
