Fairway Oaks Community Yard Sale is scheduled for June 11 th, Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Now is the perfect time to clean out that garage or closet and get rid of unwanted items. The Fairway Oaks Board will provide all advertising for the sale FREE of charge to residents plus street signage. We hope everyone will help support and participate in this community event. Following the sale, the Salvation Army truck will do a drive through in Fairway Oaks to accept any donations of unsold items. So get busy and get organized! Some tips: Pasco County Code Enforcement requires all signs to be placed only on Private Property. The HOA will place signs at both entrances to Fairway Oaks. Be prepared for early shoppers. Have enough change on hand. To attract shoppers to your house, have a lot of stuff in your driveway or perhaps combine your items with a neighbor. Advertise on the Fairway Oaks FL Home Page and Web site! Home owners, businesses and individuals can now promote their businesses, special events or hobbies on our new web page for a nominal fee. Initial advertisers will get thirteen-months of advertising for the price of twelve months. Anyone advertising in 2016 will have their ad on the website through beginning of 2017. Each ad costs an initial set up fee of $20 for a standard size ad 2 ½ by 3 or pixels of 450 x 258 with lines of text and graphic. Your own business card may be scanned and enlarged to fit this size and format easily. Advertising fees are set at $25 per year for a Fairway Oaks homeowner and $50 per year for a non-homeowner or business. This is a great way to get your company name and business known at a very affordable fee. Visit our web site at http://fairwayoaksfl.com/ and view the index page of all our sponsors. Advertising copy may be changed throughout the year for a $20 fee. Contact Cliff Gill at reportercliffgill@yahoo.com or 727-860-4903 and/or Nancy Wade at nmw0151@gmail.com or call 727-857-7060. 2

SunWest Park Don t drive miles and miles to enjoy the beach visit Hudson s own beach front park! Swimming, Kayaking, Paddle-boarding, Aqua Park, Volleyball, Wakeboarding, Spring Fed Freshwater Lake, White Sandy Beach, Outdoor Showers, Shaded Pavilion, Picnic Tables, Restrooms. Food vendors on site. Address: 17362 Old Dixie Hwy, Hudson, FL 34667 US 19 Construction I know, seeing is believing, but FDOT has stated that the construction project on US 19 is actually in its final stages with paving dependent on temperatures. We may soon see all six lanes of this busy traveled route through our city and county become fully open. Those familiar orange barrels may soon disappear! The road construction project was supposed to end last summer of 2015. Most medians have been redesigned and continuous right-turn lanes widened and paved along the highway. Because of temperatures effecting paving, crews could continue working along the roadway throughout May and into June, according to FDOT spokeswoman Kristen Carson in the Suncoast News. Temperatures must be at least 65 degrees or more to allow paving to be completed. The road crews did lose some work days due to weather, such as in this past January. The Pasco County Chamber of Commerce is holding a contest to rename the Pasco section of US 19, similar to the way Hernando County has dubbed its section Commercial Way. Access the Chamber s website to cast your vote. Landscaping along the medians and a few other improvements suggested by the Chamber and West Pasco Board of Realtors will complete the final project. 6
