This is a fundraiser for our youth running program. Everyone should try to run or volunteer. We will go for a run and optional swim and then have a cookout. We will work a triathlon on Sunday morning as a fundraiser /community service. More details will be sent via e-mail. State Camp 2018 Sun July 29 Thur Aug 2 Lake Hope State Park We started State Camp in 1998 with the goal of preparing our team to qualify for the State Championships. It has been very successful and an incredible experience for our participating athletes ever since! Forms great friendships Tremendous team bonding Sets the tone and focus for the season Fun, fun and more fun Great memories There are two ways an athlete can qualify for State Camp: 1. Finish in the top 7 at our 2 mile time trial on Monday, July 24 at. We may select more than the top 7, but the top 7 are guaranteed a spot. 2. Returning Cross Country athletes who complete the following during all three phases: Phase 1 (Dec - Feb) Attend at least 30 conditioning sessions for winter track OR Compete on a team in an OHSAA sponsored sport Phase 2 (Mar May) Compete on the Track & Field team OR Compete on a team in an OHSAA sponsored sport Phase 3 (Jun Jul) Attend at least 20 conditioning sessions for Cross Country in June and July State Camp 2018 make it a goal!
