We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to the promotion of metal detecting as a hobby. No brand or model of metal detector is endorsed by the club. Membership is open to the public with the only requirement being that all members follow the Treasure Hunters Code of Ethics. Club dues are $25.00 per family yearly. Come help us celebrate! We will have a Birthday Cake at the Club Meeting! The Three Forks Annual Auction. Will be held during our March 7th Club Meeting. There will be lots of good stuff to bid on and win!!! We will have Treasure Hunting Books and Accessories, Old Maps, Baked Goodies, Surprise Bags, Household Goods, and all kinds of Miscellaneous Items. This is a very important fund raiser for our Club s General Fund so bring lots of donations and money for the auction.
3 THREE FORKS SPRING CLUB HUNT March 22nd At The Chandler Road Church Of Christ 3507 Chandler Road In Muskogee The Night Hunt Entry Fee is $20.00 up until July 1st. There is also a mandatory Prize Donation worth at least $10.00. Children 12 and under can hunt both hunts for half price and waive the donation. You can pay in Silver up until the time of the Hunts. Silver entry fees will be 13 Silver Dimes. Plus the $10.00 Prize Donation for the Night Hunt. Our club will be furnishing the hamburgers and hotdogs. There will be a sign up sheet at the February and March Club Meetings for the rest of the meal. We will have a scavenger hunt on the church property to clean up the hunt field and to see what we can find. Keep everything that you dig because silver dime prizes will be awarded for top finds in certain categories. There will be painted pennies as targets in the Night Hunt redeemable for silver dimes. 6 From Pres Larry: Dear Club Members: The board members met after our January meeting and approved of some activities for the club. I hope you will support the club by attending these events. February 22 We will host a Treasurer Hunter s Show at the Three River Museum in Muskogee. We are asking club members to bring some of their finds and display them for the public. We will also give demonstrations on how we use our metal detectors. March 7 th During our monthly club meeting, we will have our annual auction. We will need a lot of items for the auction so check your garage and attic for donations. March 22 We have added a spring night hunt to our yearly calendar. Coffey Blueberry Farm is no longer available to the Club. This will be held in Muskogee at the Chandler Road Church of Christ. More information can be found in this newsletter. April 26-27 This is our National Hunt in Sapulpa. We will be needing volunteers to help set up the hunt fields. We will be putting out more information during our monthly meetings. June 28 th We have added another water hunt. The location will be announce as we approach that date and we have more accurate water conditions. July 26 th - This is our regular summer night hunt. Again, this will be held in Muskogee. August 23 rd - This is another water hunt with the location to be announce later. September 20 th This is Kelly B. Todd weekend at Civitan Park. We will need plenty of volunteers for this event. Also we will need metal detectors that young children can use. September 27 th Scavenger/Planted Hunt. We will add a little twist to what you would expect of a normal scavenger hunt. October 4 th Heritage Day at Three River Museum. We missed doing this last year. We will set up a booth to show our detectors and some of the items we found. October 25 th This is our annual mystery maze/night hunt. We will also have a chili/stew meal before the night hunt. As you can see, we have added several more events then we had in the past. It is the board member s desire to make your club more interesting. We will need your help by supporting these activities.
