Tip-off time from Savage Arena is 7:00 p.m. with the game being streamed on ESPN3. The Rockets, who have won 13 of 15 games since opening their season with a 5-5 record, possess a three-game lead in the MAC s West Division over Ball State (16-9, 7-5 MAC) and Western Michigan (15-10, 7-5 MAC). Toledo is tied with Buffalo (18-7, 10- MAC) for the league s best record in its quest for its first regular-season MAC title since the 013-14 campaign. Junior Nate Navigato tallied 19 points in Friday s 73-67 victory over Miami, as the Rockets clamped down defensively and limited the RedHawks to a 37.8 FG% and a 4-of-7 showing (14.8 percent) from behind the three-point arc. Joining Navigato in double figures was senior Tre Shaun Fletcher, who registered his team-best 11th double-double with 18 points and 1 rebounds, and junior Jaelan Sanford tallied 15 points and was a perfect 6-of-6 from the charity stripe. Sophomore Luke Knapke also contributed a career-high five blocked shots, to go along with seven points and eight rebounds in 6 minutes. FLETCHER S TREY PART OF SPORTSCENTER S TOP 10 Tre Shaun Fletcher game-winning shot at Detroit Mercy received national attention as it was ranked No. on ESPN s SportsCenter Top 10 plays later that evening. Fletcher hit a three-pointer from the wing at the buzzer after the Titans had tied the game with.6 seconds remaining with a pair of free throws. The shot earned Fletcher some redemption after the senior guard had inadvertently committed a foul to send the Titans to the charity stripe. Nate Navigato ran the baseline after the two free throws and was able to find Fletcher. Fletcher then turned took one dribble to his right before knocking down a fadeaway trey from right in front of the Rocket bench. Toledo s 75-63 loss to Ball State on Jan. 30 was its first double-digit home defeat since an 86-7 setback to BSU on March, 013. UT has won 10 of 13 games this season, posted a 1-4 record on its home court last year, a 9-6 mark in 015-16, a 10-5 ledger in 014-15 and a perfect 15-0 mark in 013-14. The Rockets unbeaten record (15-0) at home in 013-14 was their first since 1966-67 and just the fourth time in school history UT has accomplished the feat. ROAD WARRIORS The Rockets possess a 40-36 (.56) win-loss mark in their last 76 games on enemy courts (dating back to Jan. 30, 013). Toledo has a 7-4 win-loss mark away from Savage Arena this season and has won eighth of its last nine road tilts, including five in a row. UT s success on the road is a welcome departure from a four-year stretch (007-11) that saw the Rockets win just one true road game out of 63 contests. Included during that period was a 47-game road losing streak that ended on Nov. 0, 011 at Texas-Pan American. COMPARING THE ROCKETS AT HOME ON THE ROAD Toledo is averaging 79.7 ppg with a 47.0 FG% and 36.8 3PTFG% at home and 80. ppg with a 47.6 FG% and 43.8 3PTFG% away from Savage Arena. The Rockets possess a 74. FT% on their home floor and a 7.1 FT% on the road. UT has a plus-0.8 rebounding margin at home with an even better plus-3. rebounding margin on the road. Luke Knapke is averaging 1.7 and 7.4 rpg with a 63.5 FG% at home and is averaging 8.7 ppg and 4.9 rpg with a 50.6 FG% on the road. Nate Navigato is averaging 11.5 and 38.0 3PTFG% at home and is averaging 13.3 ppg with a 43.9 3PTFG% on the road. LITTLESON TO HIT COURT IN 018-19 Sophomore guard Spencer Littleson transferring Toledo from Duquesne University last spring. He will become eligible to play for UT in the 018-19 campaign and has three years of eligibility remaining. Littleson earned first-team Associated Press Class A all-state honors and finished third in the voting for 016 Michigan Mr. Basketball at Rochester Adams High School. He averaged 5.1 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3. assists and.0 steals per game with a 41. three-point field-goal

percentage in leading the Highlanders to an 18-6 win-loss mark and the Class A regional championship. Littleson finished his career as the school record-holder for points in a season (50 as a senior), three-pointers in a season (7 as a senior), free throws in a game (19) and three-pointers in a career (161). HITTING THE BOOKS Toledo received the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Team Academic Excellence Award last summer, marking the third time in the four years the Rockets have received the award. UT was one of just two Mid-American Conference schools to be honored and is one of 1 schools in the nation to achieve this accomplishment on three occasions in the last four years. The Team Academic Excellence Award recognizes NCAA and NAIA men s basketball teams that earned a cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.0 or better throughout the 016-17 academic year. Fifty-one of the 11 teams to make the list were NCAA Division I-affiliated programs. HITTING THE BOOKS II Toledo received NCAA Public Recognition for its classroom commitment last spring as part of the NCAA s Academic Performance Program. The Rockets most recent multi-year Academic Progress Rate (APR) was 990 which ranked among the Top 10 percent in the nation. A total of 44 Division I programs received public recognition in men s basketball, with the Rockets being the lone representative from the Mid-American Conference. WORKING OVERTIME Toledo tied a national record last year with eight overtime games that was held by Western Kentucky (1978), Portland (1984) and Valparaiso (1993). UT s previous record for overtime games was five in the 1971-7 campaign. Toledo held a lead of at least seven points at some point in each of its overtime contests and let double-digit second-half leads slip away in half of them. Ohio s Kenny Kaminski hit a mid-range jumper with seven seconds left to win it for Ohio. Jonathan Williams took the in-bounds pass the length of the floor but his driving shot was no good. Jordan Lauf corralled the rebound but his put-back at the buzzer failed to find the mark. Toledo, which trailed by as many as eight points in the second half, took a 66-64 lead on a Williams layup with 48 seconds. Ohio s Jason Carter made 1-of- free throws to cut the lead to 66-65. Steve Taylor, Jr. was fouled as he rebounded Carter s second free-throw attempt, but he missed the front end of a one-on-one, leaving the door open for the Bobcats. Williams led Toledo with 18 points. Lauf added 1 and Jaelen Sanford chipped in 11. Jaaron Simmons led Ohio with points, while Carter had 19 points and 1 rebounds. Toledo (17-16) came out firing in the first half, connecting on 13-of-5 shots (5.0 percent) and 6-of-11 from three-point range, while holding Ohio to just 1-of-33 (36.4 percent) to take a 37-9 halftime lead.
