The Blue Devils will hit the road for Nashville, Tenn., as Duke takes on Vanderbilt Sunday, Nov. 20 at 2 p.m. Storylines/Other Blue Devil Notes... Head coach Joanne P. McCallie needs only two more wins to reach 250 in her 10 years with the Blue Devils. Rebecca Greenwell s 25.0 points per game average currently leads the ACC and ranks 17th nationally. Her 75 points also ranks second nationally to James Madison s Precious Hall (80). Rebecca Greenwell and Lexie Brown are the only two players in the ACC so far with multiple 20+ scoring contests. Greenwell now ranks tied ninth in Duke history with 17 games with 20+ scoring over her career. If the Blue Devils could score 90+ points Thursday versus Grand Canyon, it would mark the fi rst time since the 2005-06 campaign Duke has registered 90+ points in three out of the fi rst four games. The Blue Devils advanced to the NCAA Championship that season. The Blue Devils swiped 29 steals versus Longwood, which was the second-most in a single game in Duke history. Duke has drained 21 three-pointers in the fi rst three games with the trio of Rebecca Greenwell, Kyra Lambert and Lexie Brown hitting all of them. In three games, the Blue Devils are averaging 20.0 assists a contest. Duke is coming off averaging only 13.8 assists in 2015-16. Duke has averaged 50.0 points in the paint the fi rst three games. In the Penn contest, Duke jumped out to a 13-0 lead and Kyra Lambert scored six points in the fi rst 25 seconds of play. The Blue Devils notched 98 points in the season opener, which is the most in an opener since Nov. 13, 2009 at Houston Baptist. Duke features four games in seven days to open the regular season, including three straight home games against Penn, Longwood and Grand Canyon. The Blue Devils feature 13 players from 10 different states on the 2016-17 roster. Follow @Duke_WBB and @CoachPDuke on Twitter to get the latest updates on Duke women's basketball.
