Feminine Gender All nouns in Arabic are either masculine or feminine Neuter noun it for non-human objects does not exist in Arabic Most nouns ending in the round Ta (ta marboota (ة are feminine e.g. صنلحة فنطمة جنة In addition to the above, there are several other categories of word which are considered feminine e.g. names of body parts, names of alphabets, names of most cities and countries, etc.
Feminine Gender For now we will only focus on the first and the most common category Masculine nouns whose meanings are applicable to both males and females are generally made feminine by adding the round ta at the end of masculine nouns. E.g. Muslim, Muslimatun (or Muslimah)
Masculine to feminine forms Just add round taa (ة) at the end. (ه) When you stop, it becomes ha مس ل م مؤ م مس ل م ة مؤ م ن ة ص نل ح ص نل ح ة
Plurals of Feminine Gender The sound plural of the feminine words, ending in the round ta, can be made by adding alif and normal ta at the end of masculine singular e.g. muslimaat
