TRANSPORTATION SERVICES AVAILABLE Ground transportation: Let us arrange a private van and driver for you and your party to or from San Jose, Arenal, La Fortuna, and other cities. Prices vary, but for up to 4 people, one way, Manuel Antonio / San Jose Airport, the price is $180. For additional people add $10 each. We will be happy to quote rates to/ from other cities. The driver takes cash or credit card (with a small fee). If you are traveling with small children, the van will provide childrens car seats with advance notice. In Town Transportation: Enjoy the convenience of a private driver for the day, or while you are nightclubbing in town. We can arrange transportation for the entire day or evening, or daily transportation for you at very reasonable prices. Car Rental: We will be happy to assist you with the pick up of a car rental at the Quepos Airport. It is only minutes away from Manuel Antonio. We recommend Hertz or Adobe car rentals. -3-

Pre-Stock Groceries: We will be happy to pre-stock your villa with grocery items for quick breakfasts, lunches and snacks. Our standard list, which we will provide you, consists of items such as cereal, bread, milk, eggs, sandwich meat, fresh fruits, etc. You can adjust it as you wish. There is no charge for this service and groceries will be charged to you at cost. Champagne or Wine: Celebrating a special occasion? Or is the special occasion just the fact that you are on vacation in Costa Rica? Let us chill your champagne or wine for you and it will be awaiting your arrival. Again, this service is at cost. Coffee: The best coffee in the world comes from Costa Rica. Let us know if you would like to have Costa Rican coffee delivered to your villa and ready for brewing on your first morning in Costa Rica. Whether you are live-biting for marlin and sailfish, or looking for dinner (fresh snapper, anyone?) you ll have the fishing experience of a lifetime. PUBLIC BEACHES: The entry fee to the Manuel Antonio National Park is $16 per person. (As of 2018). We will be happy to arrange a round trip beach transportation service that includes a tent, table, chairs, bottled water and cool shower rinse. (See below). Ask your concierge. There are three beaches at Manuel Antonio National Park: Playa Espadilla Sur is the widest beach off to the right of the main trail and is a favorite for strolling at low tide and sunbathing. Manuel Antonio Beach offers restrooms, picnic tables, drinking water and showers, and is a more sheltered spot with gentle waves. Do not leave your bags unattended at the beach. Monkeys and raccoons are known to grab them in search of food. ROUND TRIP BEACH TRANSPORTATION Our round trip transportation to and from the beaches is convenient for small or large parties alike, eliminating the need for a vehicle or vehicles and parking. This service includes round trip transportation at whatever times you want tent set up, table, chairs, water and a cool shower rinse. Bring your own food and beverages and you will be set for a day at the beach. $15 per person (as of 2018). (Cash only) -6-

Our most popular tours- THE ZIP-LINES There are several zip line companies in the area. Canopy Safari offers round trip transportation, one meal, fruit snack, butterfly farm, reptile farm, 11 zip lines, 22 platforms, 2 hanging bridges, 2 rappel lines, 1 Tarzan swing, 1 free fall or quick jump and a Superman line. $85 per person. Canopy Santuario offers 10 zip lines, 12 platforms, 8 hanging bridges, 1 rappel line (at 1300 meters, the longest line in the area), round trip transportation, and one meal. $75 per person. Titi Canopy Tour is in the smallest canopy of the area, but is only 10 minutes from Quepos. Round trip transportation included, along with zip line, platforms and hanging bridges. $85 per person. Ask your concierge about the Waterfall Rappeling and Canyoning Tour or the Ten in One All Day Tour. -8-

ATV TOUR Your guide will lead you, on your own fully equipped ATV, through plantations, cattle farms, typical small Costa Rican towns, crystal clear streams, and winding mountain paths to breathtaking waterfalls hidden deep in the rain forest, where you can swim in the refreshing waters. Your journey ends with a delightful Tico-style meal. Must be over 16 to drive; and must have a valid driver s license. Under age 16 must ride with an adult. $140 riding double; $110 riding single. MANUEL ANTONIO NATIONAL PARK TOUR Your professional bilingual guide will take you on a charming walking tour within the Manuel Antonio National Park, established in 1972 to preserve one of the most beautiful and bio-diverse areas in the world. The area of rain forest, beaches and coral reefs is home to sloths, monkeys, iguanas, colorful crabs, and gorgeous butterflies that your guide will bring to your attention and identify for you. The trail winding around Punta Catedral has views that are nothing short of spectacular. Includes transportation, entrance fee to the park, guide, snacks and fruit. Closed Monday; otherwise open 7 am to 4 pm. Regular Tour: $65 per person; Private Tours may be arranged. Free for children under 6 years of age. -9-

JUNGLE NIGHT TOUR: Do you want to experience the night life of the area? This is the tour for you. No, it s not a great bar-hopping evening. This tour takes place in the rainforest just outside of Quepos. See the fauna that bring the jungle alive between dusk and dawn. Your concierge will arrange it for you. 1 hour tour; $45 per person. FOR GUESTS AT THE TULEMAR RESORT: TULEMAR TRAIL TOUR This is a tour provided for guests staying at the Tulemar Resort (Bungalows or Casa 405). You will walk with a guide through the trails within the resort and he will point out the many animals and interesting plants of the rainforest. This tour rivals the Manuel Antonio National Park tour. $15.00 per person which goes to the Sloth Institute. -10-

BUTTERFLY BOTANICAL GARDENS This is a great tour for the younger kids, and the rest of the family as well. It It is a relatively short tour (under 1 hour) and will keep the kids entertained and be especially informative for the adults. You will find more than 10 species of butterflies inside a uniquely designed atrium garden. Your guide will show you the host plants and you ll be able to observe the four stages of metamorphosis (egg, larvae, chrysalis and adult butterfly). Maybe you will be lucky enough to witness the magical moment when a butterfly first opens its wings and takes flight! Located in the Si Como No Hotel property. ($39 per person). Night tour starts at 5:15 pm. RIVERBOAT MANGROVE TOUR Ride through the canals of the estuary on this guided boat tour. Your guide will provide interesting information about the self-sustaining mangrove system where these unique trees and shrubs thrive in a salt water environment and are periodically submerged by tides. You will undoubtedly also see the animals co-existing there such as the Caymans, monkeys, sloths, and numerous marine birds. Departure time depends on the tides. Approximately 4 hours. $65 per person. -11-

RAFTING The Naranjo and Savegre rivers near Manuel Antonio offer Class III, IV and V rapids. Talk to your concierge about which river will match best with your rafting skills; or, for a more scenic ride, choose the Savegre River which has a few more breaks in its route, allowing you to take in the beauty of nearby waterfalls and the lush rainforest with its many toucans, ospreys and egrets. Ages 10 and over. $95 per person (full day); $77 per person (half day); El Chorro (rapids) $95 per person when available. JET SKI TOUR Experience this unique guided tour off the coast of Manuel Antonio. Explore small island archipelagos and marine life and learn the history of the area. You will have a break to swim in the ocean and snorkel on reefs around the islands. Two hour tour. $160 riding double; $120 riding single. Must be over 16 to drive and must have a valid driver s license. Under age 16 must ride with an adult. -12-

HORSEBACK RIDING Your choice; horseback riding along the beaches of Manuel Antonio or through the protected virgin rainforest known as Cerro Nara. Each ride offers beautiful views and the opportunity to see all types of tropical birds, plants and animals; and the rainforest ride will take you to a sparkling waterfall where you can relax in the natural pool below it. $70 per person. CYCLING TOUR Cycling tours range from a moderate, mostly flat ride of 6 miles with a duration of 90 minutes to intermediate and advanced levels, and even an expert ride of 16 miles with steep uphill, fast downhill, rocky trails, river crossings and deep forest. Includes bike, helmet, gloves, transportation and one meal. Bike rentals available. Half day, 13 kilometers, 8 miles) $75 per person Full day, 26 kilometers, 16 miles, $85 per person. -13-

SCUBA DIVING SCUBA LICENSE REQUIRED. Your instructors and friendly dive crew will show you the best of Costa Rica s underwater world with colorful rock and reef formations which are home to barracuda, jacks and grunts. You will also see pelagic fish (living near the surface) like turtles, grouper, snapper, angelfish, Moorish idols, trumpet fish and various eels and crustaceans. Minimum of 3 people per tour. $95 per person. SNORKLING If you prefer snorkeling to diving, your concierge can direct you to where you can rent equipment for the day and explore the shallow waters off the shoreline of Manuel Antonio, teeming with bright fish and crabs. -14-

RAINMAKER RESERVE The Rainmaker Reserve is home to 60% of all the flora and fauna species found in Costa Rica. The astonishing views of the coastline, mountain streams, and waterfalls, and the magnificence of its rainforest make the Rainmaker Reserve an essential destination for nature lovers. The tour begins with a river walk along the Rio Seco s edge. Rainmaker is home to Morpho butterflies, varieties of birds, the colorful poison dart frog, and thousands of unique plant species. At the end of the walk, a pristine waterfall beckons you to enjoy a refreshing dip. Continuing up the trails, you will come to the Canopy Bridge system, consisting of suspension bridges, totaling 250 meters, spanning from platforms attached to massive hardwood trees to create the most impressive Canopy Walk in Costa Rica. PARASAILING Take in the natural beauty of the Manuel Antonio Bay when you take off from the beach and glide high into the sky in a parasail. CATAMARAN TOUR Leaving twice daily from the Marine Pez Vela in Quepos, this large catamaran heads south along the coastline of the Manuel Antonio National Park. LEARN TO SURF Learn to surf like a pro. All surfboards and equipment are top of line and well-maintained for your fun and safety. LOS CAMPESINOS RESERVE About 40 minutes inland from Quepos. Your concierge will arrange transportation to the Los Campesinos Reserve. Or if you drive yourselves, you need a 4x4. Off the beaten path, deep into the Costa Rican rain forest, your guide will point out the local fauna and flora, and explain the use of native plants by the local people. Book a private lesson that includes a brief tutorial on photography and how your camera works. Then, we will assist you in practicing the use of your camera, teaching you how to compose and create beautiful photographs. 2-3-hour lesson $85 (Prices may vary according to location). Please advise model of the camera upon booking. Family sessions and portrait sessions Get a professional portrait session on the beach or in the jungle to remember your Costa Rican experience. Photography sessions last between 1-2 hours with both candid and posed photos. Prices vary, average of $175 which includes: a disk of professionally edited images. Clients have all rights to photos, with the exception of selling them. If it is a large family reunion or more than one/two families, the price is commensurate with size of the group.
