Spring 2014 Looking Forward Page 3 MCA National in Savannah If you are thinking about going to Savannah for the MCA National Show October 10th - 12th, a few of us made reservations at the host hotel, see info below. Some may be going down on Thursday others on Friday and everyone that has booked so far is coming back on Monday. We looked around, but other than going way to the outskirts of Savannah which isn't convenient to the show, and a desire to stay close to the historic district, we are staying there at the MCA arranged rate of $149 per night for a King room. No deposit required and cancellation up to the first day of stay or day before, can't remember. Maggie Valley 2014 We are in need of sponsors, door prizes, and stuff for goody bags. Door prizes don t have to be big items, even things like a bottle of detailer work, check with local parts stores and other businesses for donations of door prize items and for anything that would go in a goody bag. This year we have two sponsorship levels: bronze that gets the sponsors logo on flyers, t-shirts, and awards, and silver that gets all these things with the logo larger, plus is the named sponsor of one of the best of show awards. Bronze $100, Silver $500. Get with me for additional info if you have someone interested. It would involve planning the route, finding a place to stop for lunch/dinner, maybe stopping at a couple points of interest, and communicating to the membership, organizing a meet place, setting a date, etc. If so, let Rick know and he can put the volunteers together.
