So good to see many of our newest club members improve over the Winter Season and swim their best over these 2 weeks. REGISTRAR S REPORT REGISTRATIONS NOW OPEN Hello CASC Members and Members to be! Registrations are now open for the 2018-2019 Swimming Season. I apologise for the lengthiness of this report, however there is information that I would like to bring to your attention. ACTIVE KIDS VOUCHER - As our fees are under the $100, there is currently no in-built function with ClubLANE for members or the Club itself to receive a refund of the difference. If members would like to use the voucher here are the steps involved:- - Members (or their parents) can apply for a voucher online through the Service NSW website - Members will need to provide me with the Active Kids Voucher code prior to making payment for membership fees. As the Club Registrar, I will validate & redeem the voucher code through the Service NSW Active Kids Portal and then in ClubLANE, (the Registrar's portal) I will manually subtract the $100 from the membership fees. The club will receive the full $100 from Service NSW initially, but CASC will only be entitled the value of our club fees from the voucher, which is $3.00. SNSW will then allocate those funds to the appropriate entities- National, State, Region. Please Note: Anyone who has paid their registration without their voucher, cannot go back and redeem a voucher. They still have the option to redeem a voucher for their other eligible sports and activities. Please refer to my previous email in regards to recommendations for the Active Kids Voucher. JUNIOR DOLPHIN MEMBERS - If your child will be 8 years old from the 1st October 2018 then you will need to renew the child's membership through MyLANE and pay the membership fee following the step by step guide below. If your child is still 7 years and under from the 1st October 2018 your child is automatically part of CASC's Junior Dolphin program and there is no need to renew their membership. NEW MEMBERS - Our new members can click on the JOIN NOW icon on the various websites listed below and complete the details. I will receive notification via email from Swimming NSW that the Club has new members and via email, on behalf of the Club, I will be in contact to confirm the membership with a welcome letter. If you are an existing member who would like to add a new member, this will involve two transactions. 1st: Renew existing member via MyLANE 2nd: Click on JOIN NOW and register New member CASC fees for this coming season are $77.00 for swimmers, $25.00 for non swimmers and our Life Members and Optus Junior Dolphins are FREE.
