BRITISH AUTOMOBILE RACING CLUB FINAL INSTRUCTIONS TO BE READ IN CONJUNCTION WITH BARC STANDING REGULATIONS ISSUE 11 JAN 2014 "British Rallycross" Saturday 10 th & Sunday 11 th October 2015 HQ 15 / 87 CLERKS OF THE COURSE Steve Hill, Steve Gibson, Chris Gibson, Tony Richardson, SECRETARY OF THE MEETING Julie Hill CIRCUIT TEL No: 01325 721815 CIRCUIT LENGTH: 1.235 miles MSA PERMIT NUMBERS: National A 87595 (Sat), National B - 87533(Sat), National B 87534 (Sun), National A 87594 (Sun) PIT GARAGE ALLOCATION: Supercars SIGNING ON: Will take place in Race Administration alongside the main reception from 07.30hrs. UPGRADE CARDS: Due to the number of items that are lost in the post, drivers who leave their upgrade card for CoC signature and do not collect them at the end of the meeting, leave them at their own risk. For the avoidance of doubt, BARC will return uncollected cards on the day following the event but will accept no responsibility whatsoever if the card does not reach the intended recipient. DRIVER BRIEFINGS: General driver briefing notes will be handed out at sign on. Any driver who has not raced on this circuit before must report at the new driver briefing, which will be held outside the rear of Race Administration at 08.00hrs & 09.00hrs. FUEL: No fuel is available for sale at the circuit. Competitors are reminded that the dedicated refuelling zone is the only place where refuelling may be undertaken. ENGINES / NOISE POLLUTION: Engines must not be run at any time before 08.45 am or after 6.30pm. NOISE CHECKING: Noise checking will be carried out by MSA Environmental Scrutineers at the entry to the dummy grid. ENTRY ONTO THE CIRCUIT FOR COMPETING CARS: Cars will collect in the designated dummy grid area situated by the hairpin on the full race circuit. For practice, you will be signalled to go directly out onto the circuit. For the race you will be signalled to go out onto the grid, to follow the start procedure detailed in the regulations. PIT LANE SECURITY: Competitors should be aware that it is their responsibility to ensure that persons under the age of 16 are not allowed access to the pit lane, and that also only two members of support crew are allowed access to the pit lane. EXIT FROM CIRCUIT FOR COMPETING CARS: After the showing of the chequered flag, all vehicles must exit the circuit at Clervaux corner, entering Parc Ferme. PRESENTATIONS: The presentations for all categories will take place in the pit lane, in front of Race Control 15 minutes after the conclusion of the last final. DISPOSAL OF WASTE: Would all competitors please be aware that it is no longer acceptable to leave or abandon empty fuel/oil containers, batteries and tyres behind when leaving a venue. Such items are classified as hazardous waste. Please also be aware that these items MUST NOT be placed in general rubbish skips at circuits; doing so could trigger a 1000 local authority fine. Where it can be identified that a certain competitor or championship is responsible, charges will be passed on. Where it is not possible, these charges will have to be absorbed and will then reappear as increased entry fees for all. Your co-operation would be appreciated - take your waste home and dispose of it safely USE OF VIDEO EQUIPMENT: Competitors must use vehicle mounted video recording equipment but they must have any such equipment securely mounted, and in place, prior to vehicle scrutineering taking place. Responsibilities for the use of such cameras is detailed within the championship regulations. It must be realised that oranges Probans DO NOT constitute an automatic pass through any gate at the Circuit. Please do not ring the BARC Office, as we cannot assign allocations until the day of the meeting. If your name does not appear on the allocation list, it is usually because the instructions were printed before we knew of your intention to volunteer for this meeting.
