The Full Time Goal Chance Unknown Roster Add On Team Set #1 World Cup 2010: The Confederation Qualifers This is an extension set to the free Full Time, Goal Chance Unknown Roster add on. Now that World Cup 2010 has passed everybody wants to replay the final 32 teams in South Africa. But what about the other 152 teams that didn't make it out of their confederations? Does Ireland deserve to be ignored by the table top community because of a bad call? How about Costa Rica who could have eliminated semi finalist Uruguay if a ball or two bounced their way. Then there's Egypt who defeats quarter finalist Ghana to win the African Cup of Nations but loses 1-0 to Algeria, in a great match between fierce rivals to miss out on South Africa. This extension set allows you to replay all of the qualifying stages* of the 2010 World Cup. Start your qualifying now so you can be ready for the finals when Owzat releases their official set^. *Even though you very well could complete an entire World Cup from qualifying to Finals with this extension, it will only be accurate through the qualifying stages. To have accurate ratings for the finals, please purchase the official World Cup 2010 set, you will enjoy every roll! ^ Owzat will release the actual 32 teams that qualified for the World Cup finals. If you do replay the complete qualification, and a team qualifies for the finals that didn't actually (almost impossible due to the fine design of Full Time and the infallibility of my research HA!!) On each confederations page, you will find a FINALS ADJUSTMENT FACTOR for that confederation. Designed & Created by Jj, inspired by Lambourne

What to do and how to use??? To use this extension set just follow the rules in the UNKNOWN ROSTER add on excluding the team ranking portion. Then follow the normal game play of the official game. Easy enough. Included are the ratings for ALL the nations that took part in the qualifying phase of the 2010 World Cup. When playing two nations within the same confederation, use the ratings on the left, the SILVER RATES. If you would like to play a friendly between two non confederation nations, use the ratings on the right, the ORANGE RATES. The ORANGE RATES are normalized according to the strength of the confederation it resides. (UEFA is the strongest and the OFC the weakest.) THERE ARE NOT SEPERATE RATINGS FOR HOME AND AWAY! Also you will find the confederations groups (if used) and the format of each confederation. This was the most difficult part. Some of the structure of the confederations are a bit convoluted (AFC I'm looking at you!). If you would like a more concise descriptions of each confederation, check out the FIFA website. They have pdf downloads available. The Finals Adjustment factor is used if and only if a team other than the actual 32 happens to qualify for the Finals. Each confederation has its unique adjustment based on its relative strength and the conditions of the qualifications. Simply adjust the countries INTER CONFED or ORANGE RATING by the adjustment factor. eg. Ireland defeats France and advances. UEFA ADJUSTMENT FACTOR is AT -2 MF -2 DF -3. Irelands adjusted rates are AT:E MF:D DF:B. Their adjusted finals rates will be AT:G MF:F DF:D. ONLY USE THE ADJUSTMESNT FACTOR FOR TEAMS THAT OWZAT DID NOT PRODUCE. Thanks for downloading and enjoy! Any questions, comments or critiques are always welcome. Look for Jj @ the various table top forums. I'm easy to find. Jjerg
