The organizing committee of the 4 th WBPF European Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships (2013) wishes to extend a warm welcome to all European member countries of the WBPF (World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation). Dear Delegates and Athletes, It gives me immense pleasure that the 4th European Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships are being held in Kiev, Ukraine from 24-27 May 2013 which is organized by the Ukrainian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation under the great leadership of Mr. Valeriy Lutsak, President of UBPF and his team of organizers. This competition is sanctioned by the European Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation (EBPF) a member of WBPF. The EBPF is led by President Axel Bauer from Austria and General-Secretary Ms. Ildiko Buranits from Hungary. The Ukrainian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation are striving hard to promote bodybuilding and physique sports throughout the country at grass root level. This continental event besides raising the standards of bodybuilding and physique sports in Europe will popularize the game amongst the masses. I am delighted to know that many European countries are participating with their best teams in this year's event in Kiev and I am very confident that the 4th European Championships will prove to be successful with the active participation of not only the competitors and officials, but also the spectators. ACCOMODATION The costs for accommodation including the registration fee amounts to 200 EUR per person and is available for WBPF athletes, officials and delegates only. This rate is valid only for those reservations that were received no later than by 1st May 2013. The booking of rooms can be made exclusively by the organizing committee and not directly by individuals and/or national federations. IMPORTANT NOTICE Please be informed that the hotel will charge a 100 EUR deposit for possible damages caused in the room (for example staining of towels and beddings by the use of tanning products). Please make sure that no damages or additional expenses will be created during your stay and the room will be returned as clean as it was taken over upon check-in. The deposit will be returned at the time of check-out, if no damages were found. Neither the organizing committee nor the EBPF/WBPF will be responsible for any damages made by a participant. The costs of accommodation have to be paid together with the hotel deposit upon check-in. Check-in can be done individually or in groups. Kindly be informed that the special room rate only applies for the duration of the European Championships. If you arrive earlier or stay longer, all those additional expenses for an extended stay have to be paid exclusively by the person, who stays longer. The room charge shall be paid together with the deposit at the time of Hotel check-in. Check-in can be done individually or group level. DIETARY MEAL A fee for dietary meal is included in the registration fee (200 EUR/person). Meals contain boiled (not flavoured) chicken breast with steamed rice and vegetables. The mandatory athlete registration and weigh-in is going to start for all competitors on 25 th May 2013 in the congress room of the Official Hotel. REGISTRATION FEES Each official participant (athletes and delegates, including delegates without competitors) has to pay the package price of 200 EUR for each person. This package price includes the registration fee of 25 EUR, hotel accommodation from Friday 24th May 2013 to Monday 27th May 2013 including meals (Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast and dinner, Sunday breakfast and gala dinner, Monday breakfast), shuttle to and from airport to hotel and to competition venue and tickets to competition. The accommodation will be in double rooms. The package price for accommodation in a single room is also 200 EUR. Official participants, who do not buy the package, have to pay the registration fee of 25 EUR. IMPORTANT NOTICE Those athletes who want to compete in two disciplines (ex. master and senior bodybuilding) have to pay the registration fee of 25.00 EURO (that is included in the package) only once. The package price including the registration fee has to be paid before check-in in cash. COMPETITOR NOTIFICATION Those athletes who have not met the established requirements, who missed the deadline for registration, or who registered in a division that has already been closed out, will be denied participation in the 4 th WBPF European Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships. We strongly encourage all participants to arrive on time and make the appropriate arrangements to compete in Kiev, Ukraine. ACCESS TO BACKSTAGE / DRESSING ROOMS Access to the backstage area and/or dressing rooms is strictly limited only to the relevant accredited personnel. CAMERA/VIDEO TAPE EQUIPMENT Camera and/or video tape equipment shall be strictly prohibited in the backstage and/or dressing room areas except when used by EBPF authorized media persons and, in any event, these devices shall be strictly prohibited in the dressing room area. PARADE OF NATIONS The dress code for all delegates and/or officials taking part in the Parade of Nations is the WBPF official uniform (steel grey suite, white shirt, official tie). The dress code for all athletes taking part in the Parade of Nations is the competition attire (posing trunks for men, bikini for women). One (1) delegate and one (1) competitor per country must take part in the parade of nations. NATIONAL ANTHEM/NATIONAL FLAG All national federations must bring with them the music of their respective national anthems (30 seconds short version only) on a compact disc (CD). The national anthem must be on a separate CD from those which contain the posing music of an athlete. All national federations must also bring with them their respective national flags. The flags must be manufactured of dense silk and measure no more than 2.5. meters times 1.5 meters. POSING MUSIC All posing music must be on an audio CD encased in a plastic protective case with the competitor s name affixed upon the case of the CD, and the music properly cued at the beginning of the song title. The use of profane, vulgar and offensive language is strictly prohibited in the posing music. Posing music must be 60 seconds for men s, women s bodybuilding, menґs and womenґs athletic physique and 90 seconds for menґs and womenґs fitness physique. 8

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO TRAINERS No trainers will be permitted in the backstage area. Non compliance with this rule will result in disqualification and possible suspension. Please consult to the Ukrainian Embassy in your country to determine if you need a visa. CURRENCY The national currency is Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH). The approx. exchange rate is 1 EUR = 11 UAH CREDIT CARDS All major credit cards are widely accepted at most major hotels, department stores and restaurants. You may be requested to show your passport. CLIMATE During the month of May, the average temperature is 18-20 degrees of Celsius. ELECTRICAL CURRENT The electrical current is 220 Voltage. LANGUAGE Official Language in Ukraine is Ukrainian. English is widely spoken in hotels, restaurants, shopping centres and tourist areas.
