Portrait Fred Belaubre Jean-Luc Lefrançois Frederic Belaubre runs his first triathlon in 1993 at the age of 13. In 2000, he wins the junior world title in Perth, Australia. He then wins his first Elite national title in 2002 and qualifies for the Athens Olympics in 2004 where he places 5th. The following year, he wins his first victory in the World Cup and becomes European champion in Lausanne. In 2006 in Autun, he retains his European title and climbs for the first time on the podium of the World Championships by winning the bronze medal in Lausanne. He wins his third title of European champion in 2008 in Lisbon. The same year, he finishes tenth in the Triathlon event at the Summer Olympics. In parallel triathlon, he wins the French cross country championship of Côte d Azur. In 2015, Frederic Belaubre makes his long-distance debut by performing his first Ironman 70.3, California, where he takes 21st place. He wins the title of champion of France long distance at Gravelines in 4 hours 3 min 43 s. He wins this victory with his partner in life, professional triathlete Charlotte Morel who did the same in women. In July 2015, they both win their respective rankings at M triathlon in Alpe d Huez. A native of Rouen, Jean-Luc Lefrançois has 30 years of experience in the field of haute cuisine. It s his grandfather Leon, craft baker, who gave him the taste of food and the pleasure of sharing. After an apprenticeship in Normandy, he joined his first palace hotel, Le Bristol Paris at the age of 18 as commis de cuisine. He then stuff his knowledge and his journey through the best gastronomic restaurants in the capital, the Royal Monceau at the Ritz, the Crillon Hotel, passing by Hélène Darroze s restaurant, Le Relais Louis XIII. In 2004, he took first place at the head of Prunier restaurant and Astor restaurant. He then attempts the adventure with two associates to be his own boss at Café Moderne. He returned later to Dominique Bouchet, in his starred restaurant of Treilhard street. He joined L Apogee Courchevel for the winter season 2014-2015 and deploys his talents at the Château Saint-Martin & Spa since 2015. Cooking is a passion that he can not help to exercise as well as sport. Program Discover thiathlon and cooking with two masters Three days outside of time await you at the Château Saint-Martin where you will be able to discover the triathlon under the advice of Fred Belaubre. The first day will take you on the magnificent paths of the Chapel Saint Raphaël and the Baou des Blancs. The lunch break will allow you to discover the culinary talents of Chef Jean-Luc Lefrançois before returning for a bike loop through the Gorges du Loup. The second day will be organized around a longer cycle loop in the morning, a picnic in the wilderness and an improvement of your crawl in the swimming pool of the hotel. Sporty aperitif and 3 course dinner under the guidance of our triathlete chef.
