Harbor Springs Ice Rink and Kiwanis Park Sledding Hill Winter 2013-2014 Tentative Schedule Santa s Workshop Saturday, December 7 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Harbor Springs Library This event is a joint event with the Harbor Springs Library and is designed to give local children a chance to make Christmas gifts for their friends and family. Itinerary 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Hand Painted Canvas Tote Bags 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Hand Painted Neckties 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Chalkboard Coasters Crowle Hole Winter Disc Golf Tournament Saturday, December 28 from noon to 4 p.m. at Kiwanis Park Tournament Divisions and Prizes Open Division - players will compete for prize money: $50-1 st place, $35-2 nd place, $20-3 rd place. Amateur Division - players will compete for prize money: $50-1 st place, $35-2 nd place, $20-3 rd place. Ace Pool - $2 from each entry will go towards the pool. Food Snacks will be served between rounds. Pizza will be served after the second round. Snack and lunch are for participants only. Registration Registration will be held from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. on the day of the event. The tournament is limited to 72 participants. Registration will be accepted on a first come first serve basis. Tournament Structure The Crowle Hole Winter Classic will consist of two rounds of golf. (See Itinerary) The tournament will be a shotgun start. Participants will be randomly placed in groups of four. Morning round groups will be based on the order in which participants pay for the event. Scramble pairs will be created based on morning round standings. Tournament will be played in accordance with the Professional Disc Golf Association s Competition Manual. Players are encouraged to visit www.pdga.com to review competition rules.

Ice Skating at the Ice Rink - Saturday Afternoons - January 4 March 15 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. This winter at the ice rink we will be hosting ice skating games on Saturday afternoons. We started this last year and it was a huge hit. From 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. we play a series of ice skating games including broomball, four corners, pom-pom, and other games. We give the winners of the games silly prizes. The race combines mud and trail runs designed to make competitors very tired.
