N arrabeen Football Association 2 Overview & History Narrabeen Youth Club incorporating the Narrabeen Football Club In 1965 Ted Blackwood and others formed the Narrabeen Youth Club. Bill Gooding was President in the first year and from 1966 until 2008 Ted maintained that role. Although now retired from "active" Club service Ted has officially accepted the position of Club Patron. The Narrabeen Youth Club has around 1200 members today (800 players and 150 officials for Football and 350 Netball) and continues to grow. During those years many children have enjoyed the various sports on offer in the Football (Soccer), Netball, Physical Culture, Cricket and Gymnastics Sections of which only Football and Netball still remain today. Many of the current adult members have passed through the junior ranks and have children of their own now playing. In 2016, Narrabeen Youth Club incorporating the Football Club will commemorate 51 years. Today, Narrabeen Football Club has grown to nearly 1,000 and a strong 3,000 + club community, with players parents, family members and extended relations. Narrabeen Football Club are associated with and play in the Manly Warringah Football Association competition and are exposed to a potential 16,000 ++ players and a further 5,000++ managers, coaches, parents and supporters each week from Avalon to Mosman and out to Killarney Heights. So any benefit is not just exposure to the Narrabeen Football Club but to the wider Manly Warringah Football Association community. The committee of Narrabeen Football Club is a dedicated group of volunteers who have the best interests of the local community at heart.
N arrabeen Football Association 3 Youth Development Community Club Committee 2016 The Narrabeen Football Club Committee members have been involved for several seasons showing commitment and dedication to the local community and to the young players. Headed by Club President Michael Bosschieter, the volunteers meet once a month to discuss, plan and strategise the Narrabeen Football Clubs current and future needs. The club strives in providing the best possibilities for encouraging young children to play football, providing the best opportunities available. All Coaching ad manager volunteers give up there time to enhance there skills and furthering there skills and knowledge with the Coaching courses provided. Non payment within this time period will result in a non commitment to sponsorship and a 15% surcharge will be charged for Admin fees and charges. Time- frame The Sponsorship period is between the 1 st of February 2016 until the 30 th of August 2016. All sponsors logos and contact details will remain on the official Narrabeen Footb all Club w ebsite until the 31 st of December 2015. Insurance All sponsors will be required to obtain p ublic liability insurance (minimum $20 million) if they are to erect signage, flags, banners or any other type of paraphernalia that can be removed easily by Mother Nature.
