Page 1 of 16 سورة الشعراء (26) As-Shu'araa: The Poets ب س م االله ال رح من ال رح يم In the Name of Allah The All Merciful, The Most Merciful. طسم 1. Ta Seen Meem ت ل ك ا ی ات ال ك ت اب ال م ب ين 2. Those are the signs of the manifest writ. ل ع لك ب اخ ع نف س ك أ لا ی ك ون وا م و م ن ين 3. Perhaps you are aggrieving yourself that they will not be faithful. إ ن نش ا ن ن زل ع ل ي ه م من ال سم اء ا ی ة ف ظ لت أ ع ن اق ه م ل ه ا خ اض ع ين 4. If We willed, We would descend upon them from the sky a sign, so persist would their necks unto it in acquiescence. و م ا ی ا ت يه م من ذ آ ر من ال رح م ن م ح د ث إ لا آ ان وا ع ن ه م ع ر ض ين 5. And arrives not to them does any remembrance from The All Merciful, refreshed, except they are ever from it averting. ف ق د آ ذب وا ف س ي ا ت يه م أ نب اء م ا آ ان وا ب ه ی س ت ه ز ي ون 6. For they have truly belied, thus it will arrive to them, the news of what they were ever in it mocking. أ و ل م ی ر و ا إ ل ى ال ا ر ض آ م أ نب ت ن ا ف يه ا م ن آ ل ز و ج آ ر یم 7. Did they not see Earth, how much We vegetated therein from every gracious pair? إ ن ف ي ذ ل ك ل ا ی ة و م ا آ ان أ آ ث ر ه م مو م ن ين 8. Assuredly in that is a sign, and not were the abundance of them faithful. و إ ن ر بك ل ه و ال ع ز یز ال رح يم 9. And assuredly your Lord is surely He, The Esteemed, The Most Merciful. و إ ذ ن اد ى ر بك م وس ى أ ن اي ت ال ق و م ال ظال م ين 10. And for, cried did your Lord unto Moses thus: "Approach the oppressing people..." ق و م ف ر ع و ن أ ل ا ی تق ون 11. "...the people of Pharaoh. Do they venerate not? ق ال ر ب إ ني أ خ اف أ ن ی ك ذب ون 12. He said, "My Lord, assuredly I fear that they will belie me." و ی ض يق ص د ر ي و ل ا ی نط ل ق ل س ان ي ف ا ر س ل إ ل ى ه ار ون 13. "And tightens does my chest, and not does my tongue take off, so send for Aaron."
Page 2 of 16 و ل ه م ع ل ي ذ نب ف ا خ اف أ ن ی ق ت ل ون 14. "And for them upon me is guilt, so I fear they will kill me." ق ال آ لا ف اذ ه ب ا ب ا ی ات ن ا إ نا م ع ك م مس ت م ع ون 15. He said, "Nay! So go, you both, with Our signs; assuredly We are with you, listening." ف ا ت ي ا ف ر ع و ن ف ق ول ا إ نا ر س ول ر ب ال ع ال م ين 16. "So approach Pharaoh, then say: Assuredly we are the messenger of the Lord of the worlds." أ ن أ ر س ل م ع ن ا ب ن ي إ س ر اي يل 17. "Thus, send with us the Children of Israel." ق ال أ ل م ن ر بك ف ين ا و ل يد ا و ل ب ث ت ف ين ا م ن ع م ر ك س ن ين 18. He said, "Did we not rear you among us as a newborn? And you subsisted among us, from your lifetime, years." و ف ع ل ت ف ع ل ت ك ا لت ي ف ع ل ت و أ نت م ن ال ك اف ر ین 19. "And you did your doing that you did, and you are from the repudiators." ق ال ف ع ل ت ه ا إ ذ ا و أ ن ا م ن ال ضا لين 20. He said, "I did it then, and I was from the deviated." ف ف ر ر ت م نك م ل ما خ ف ت ك م ف و ه ب ل ي ر بي ح ك م ا و ج ع ل ن ي م ن ال م ر س ل ين 21. "Then I fled from you when I feared you; so bestowed upon me did my Lord judiciousness, and He made me from the messengers." و ت ل ك ن ع م ة ت م نه ا ع ل ي أ ن ع بد ت ب ن ي إ س ر اي يل 22. "And this is a favor that you oblige me with, that you enslaved the Children of Israel?" ق ال ف ر ع و ن و م ا ر ب ال ع ال م ين 23. Said Pharaoh, "And what is the Lord of the worlds?" ق ال ر ب ال سم او ات و ال ا ر ض و م ا ب ي ن ه م ا إن آ نت م موق ن ين 24. He said, "The Lord of the heavens and Earth and what is between them, if you were ever certain." ق ال ل م ن ح و ل ه أ ل ا ت س ت م ع ون 25. He said to whoever was around him, "Do you not hear!?" ق ال ر بك م و ر ب ا ب اي ك م ال ا ول ين 26. He said, "Your Lord, and the Lord of your earlier fathers." ق ال إ ن ر س ول ك م ا لذ ي أ ر س ل إ ل ي ك م ل م ج ن و ن 27. He said, "Assuredly your messenger, the one that was sent to you, is insane!"
Page 3 of 16 ق ال ر ب ال م ش ر ق و ال م غ ر ب و م ا ب ي ن ه م ا إ ن آ نت م ت ع ق ل ون 28. He said, "The Lord of the East and the West and what is between them, if you are ever mindful." ق ال ل ي ن ا تخ ذ ت إ ل ه ا غ ي ر ي ل ا ج ع ل نك م ن ال م س ج ون ين 29. He said, "Surely, if you take a god outside of me, I will surely make you from the imprisoned." ق ال أ و ل و ج ي ت ك ب ش ي ء مب ين 30. He said, "Even if I bring to you a manifest thing?" ق ال ف ا ت ب ه إ ن آ نت م ن ال صاد ق ين 31. He said, "Then bring it, if you are ever from the truthful." ف ا ل ق ى ع ص اه ف ا ذ ا ه ي ث ع ب ان مب ين 32. So he cast his stick; thus it was a snake, manifest. و ن ز ع ی د ه ف ا ذ ا ه ي ب ي ض اء ل ل ناظ ر ین 33. And he pulled out his hand; thus it was white unto the onlookers. ق ال ل ل م ل ا ح و ل ه إ ن ه ذ ا ل س اح ر ع ل يم 34. He said to the crowd around him, "Assuredly this is a most knowledgeable sorcerer." ی ر ید أ ن ی خ ر ج ك م من أ ر ض ك م ب س ح ر ه ف م اذ ا ت ا م ر ون 35. "He wants to evict you from your land with his sorcery, so what would you order?" ق ال وا أ ر ج ه و أ خ اه و اب ع ث ف ي ال م د اي ن ح اش ر ین 36. They said, "Stall him and his brother, and dispatch into the city, massers." ی ا ت وك ب ك ل س حار ع ل يم 37. "They will bring you every most sorcerous, most knowledgeable (one)." ف ج م ع ال سح ر ة ل م يق ات ی و م مع ل وم 38. So gathered were the sorcerers to the appointment of a day known. و ق يل ل ل ناس ه ل أ نت م مج ت م ع ون 39. And it was said to the humanity, "Are you gathered?" ل ع لن ا ن تب ع ال سح ر ة إ ن آ ان وا ه م ال غ ال ب ين 40. "Perhaps we will follow the sorcerers if they are ever, them, the conquerors." ف ل ما ج اء ال سح ر ة ق ال وا ل ف ر ع و ن أ ي ن ل ن ا ل ا ج ر ا إ ن آ نا ن ح ن ال غ ال ب ين 41. So when came did the sorcerers they said to Pharaoh, "Is there for us surely a reward if we are ever, us, the conquerors?" ق ال ن ع م و إ نك م إ ذ ا لم ن ال م ق رب ين 42. He said, "Yes, and assuredly you are then surely from the ones drawn near."

Said to them did Moses, "Cast whatever you are casting." ف ا ل ق و ا ح ب ال ه م و ع ص يه م و ق ال وا ب ع زة ف ر ع و ن إ نا ل ن ح ن ال غ ال ب ون 44. So they cast their ropes and their sticks and said, "By the esteem of Pharaoh, assuredly we, surely us, are the conquerors!" ف ا ل ق ى م وس ى ع ص اه ف ا ذ ا ه ي ت ل ق ف م ا ی ا ف ك ون 45. Then cast did Moses his stick; so there it is, snapping up what they were hoaxing. ف ا ل ق ي ال سح ر ة س اج د ین 46. So they were cast, the sorcerers, prostrating. ق ال وا ا م نا ب ر ب ال ع ال م ين 47. They said, "We have faith in the Lord of the worlds.." ر ب م وس ى و ه ار ون 48. "...the Lord of Moses and Aaron." ق ال ا م نت م ل ه ق ب ل أ ن ا ذ ن ل ك م إ ن ه ل ك ب ير آ م ا لذ ي ع ل م ك م ال سح ر ف ل س و ف ت ع ل م ون ل ا ق طع ن أ ی د ی ك م و أ ر ج ل ك م من خ ل اف و ل ا ص لب نك م أ ج م ع ين 49. He said, "You have faith for him before I permit you? Assuredly he is your elder, the one who taught you the sorcery, so you shall know... I will surely sever your hands and your legs from different (sides), and I will surely crucify you all together." ق ال وا ل ا ض ي ر إ نا إ ل ى ر بن ا م نق ل ب ون 50. They said, "No harm, assuredly we are unto our Lord rotating (back)." إ نا ن ط م ع أ ن ی غ ف ر ل ن ا ر بن ا خ ط ای ان ا أ ن آ نا أ ول ال م و م ن ين 51. "Assuredly we covet that forgives for us does our Lord our wrongs, if we are the first of the faithful." و أ و ح ي ن ا إ ل ى م وس ى أ ن أ س ر ب ع ب اد ي إ نك م م تب ع ون 52. And We inspired Moses thus: "Journey by night with My slaves, assuredly you are to be followed." ف ا ر س ل ف ر ع و ن ف ي ال م د اي ن ح اش ر ین 53. So sent did Pharaoh into the cities, massers. إ ن ه و ل اء ل ش ر ذ م ة ق ل يل ون 54. "Assuredly those are surely a little scrap." و إ نه م ل ن ا ل غ اي ظ ون 55. "And assuredly they are unto us enraging." و إ نا ل ج م يع ح اذ ر ون 56. "And we are all together, wary."

So We evicted them from gardens and springs... و آ ن وز و م ق ام آ ر یم 58....and treasures and gracious position. آ ذ ل ك و أ و ر ث ن اه ا ب ن ي إ س ر اي يل 59. Thus We bequeathed it (to) the Children of Israel. ف ا ت ب ع وه م مش ر ق ين 60. So they followed them towards sunrise. ف ل ما ت ر اءى ال ج م ع ان ق ال أ ص ح اب م وس ى إ نا ل م د ر آ ون 61. So when the two gatherings descried (each other), said did the companions of Moses, "Assuredly we will surely be in proximity." ق ال آ لا إ ن م ع ي ر بي س ي ه د ین 62. He said, "Nay! Assuredly with me is my Lord, He will guide me." ف ا و ح ي ن ا إ ل ى م وس ى أ ن اض ر ب بع ص اك ال ب ح ر ف انف ل ق ف ك ان آ ل ف ر ق آ ال طو د ال ع ظ يم 63. So then We inspired Moses thus: "Strike with your stick, the sea." So it cleaved, thus each partition was like a grand alp. و أ ز ل ف ن ا ث م ال ا خ ر ین 64. And We made close thereto the others. و أ نج ي ن ا م وس ى و م ن م ع ه أ ج م ع ين 65. And We rescued Moses and whoever was with him, all together. ث م أ غ ر ق ن ا ال ا خ ر ین 66. Then We drowned the others. إ ن ف ي ذ ل ك ل ا ی ة و م ا آ ان أ آ ث ر ه م مو م ن ين 67. Assuredly in that is a sign, and not were the abundance of them faithful. و إ ن ر بك ل ه و ال ع ز یز ال رح يم 68. And assuredly your Lord is surely He, The Esteemed, The Most Merciful. و ات ل ع ل ي ه م ن ب ا إ ب ر اه يم 69. And recite upon the the news of Abraham. إ ذ ق ال ل ا ب يه و ق و م ه م ا ت ع ب د ون 70. For, he said to his father and his people, "What do you worship?"
Page 6 of 16 ق ال وا ن ع ب د أ ص ن ام ا ف ن ظ ل ل ه ا ع اآ ف ين 71. They said, "We worship icons, thus we continue unto them huddling." ق ال ه ل ی س م ع ون ك م إ ذ ت د ع ون 72. He said, "Do they hear you when you call?" أ و ی نف ع ون ك م أ و ی ض رون 73. "Or do they benefit you or harm?" ق ال وا ب ل و ج د ن ا ا ب اءن ا آ ذ ل ك ی ف ع ل ون 74. They said, "Rather, we found our fathers thus doing." ق ال أ ف ر أ ی ت م ما آ نت م ت ع ب د ون 75. He said, "Do you then see what you were ever worshipping?" أ نت م و ا ب اؤ آ م ال ا ق د م ون 76. "You and your fathers of old." ف ا نه م ع د و لي إ لا ر ب ال ع ال م ين 77. "So, assuredly they are enemies to me, except the Lord of the worlds." ا لذ ي خ ل ق ن ي ف ه و ی ه د ین 78. "The One who created me then He guides me." و ا لذ ي ه و ی ط ع م ن ي و ی س ق ين 79. "And the One, He who feeds me and hydrates me." و إ ذ ا م ر ض ت ف ه و ی ش ف ين 80. "And when I sicken, then He cures me." و ا لذ ي ی م يت ن ي ث م ی ح ي ين 81. "And the One who deadens me then vivifies me." و ا لذ ي أ ط م ع أ ن ی غ ف ر ل ي خ ط يي ت ي ی و م ال دین 82. "And the One who I covet that He forgives for me, my wrongs (on) the Day of Requital." ر ب ه ب ل ي ح ك م ا و أ ل ح ق ن ي ب ال صال ح ين 83. "My Lord, bestow upon me judiciousness and append me to the righteous." و اج ع ل لي ل س ان ص د ق ف ي ال ا خ ر ین 84. "And make for me a tongue of truth among the later." و اج ع ل ن ي م ن و ر ث ة ج نة ال نع يم 85. "And make me among the heirs of the Garden of Comforts."
Page 7 of 16 و اغ ف ر ل ا ب ي إ ن ه آ ان م ن ال ضا لين 86. "And forgive my father, assuredly he was ever from the deviated." و ل ا ت خ ز ن ي ی و م ی ب ع ث ون 87. "And disgrace me not, the day they are dispatched." ی و م ل ا ی نف ع م ال و ل ا ب ن ون 88. "The day, benefits not does wealth nor children." إ لا م ن أ ت ى ال له ب ق ل ب س ل يم 89. "Except whoever approaches Allah with an intact core." و أ ز ل ف ت ال ج ن ة ل ل م تق ين 90. And made close was the Garden to the venerators. و ب رز ت ال ج ح يم ل ل غ او ین 91. And made emerged was Hell to the strayers. و ق يل ل ه م أ ی ن م ا آ نت م ت ع ب د ون 92. And said to them is, "Where is what you were ever worshipping..." م ن د ون ال له ه ل ی نص ر ون ك م أ و ی نت ص ر ون 93. "...outside of Allah? Do they champion you or champion themselves?" ف ك ب ك ب وا ف يه ا ه م و ال غ او ون 94. So they were tumbled into it, they and the strayers... و ج ن ود إ ب ل يس أ ج م ع ون 95....and the troops of Iblis, all together. ق ال وا و ه م ف يه ا ی خ ت ص م ون 96. They said, while they were in it contesting... ت ال له إ ن آ نا ل ف ي ض ل ال مب ين 97. "By Allah, assuredly we were surely in manifest deviation..." إ ذ ن س ویك م ب ر ب ال ع ال م ين 98. "...that we equated you with the Lord of the worlds." و م ا أ ض لن ا إ لا ال م ج ر م ون 99. "And deviated us did naught but the malefactors." ف م ا ل ن ا م ن ش اف ع ين 100. "So not for us are there any intercessors..."
Page 8 of 16 و ل ا ص د یق ح م يم 101. "...nor any warm comrade." ف ل و أ ن ل ن ا آ رة ف ن ك ون م ن ال م و م ن ين 102. "So if for us were another bout, thus we would be from the faithful." إ ن ف ي ذ ل ك ل ا ی ة و م ا آ ان أ آ ث ر ه م مو م ن ين 103. Assuredly in that is a sign, and not were the abundance of them faithful. و إ ن ر بك ل ه و ال ع ز یز ال رح يم 104. And assuredly your Lord is surely He, The Esteemed, The Most Merciful. آ ذب ت ق و م ن وح ال م ر س ل ين 105. Belied did the people of Noah, the messengers. إ ذ ق ال ل ه م أ خ وه م ن وح أ ل ا ت تق ون 106. For, said to them did their brother Noah, "Do you venerate not?" إ ني ل ك م ر س ول أ م ين 107. "Assuredly I am unto you a trustworthy messenger." ف ا تق وا ال له و أ ط يع ون 108. "So venerate Allah, and obey me." و م ا أ س ا ل ك م ع ل ي ه م ن أ ج ر إ ن أ ج ر ي إ لا ع ل ى ر ب ال ع ال م ين 109. "And I ask you not for it any reward, in fact my reward is but upon the Lord of the worlds." ف ا تق وا ال له و أ ط يع ون 110. "So venerate Allah, and obey me." ق ال وا أ ن و م ن ل ك و ا تب ع ك ال ا ر ذ ل ون 111. They said, "Us, have faith for you while followed you have the most despised." ق ال و م ا ع ل م ي ب م ا آ ان وا ی ع م ل ون 112. He said, "And what is my knowledge in what they were ever doing?" إ ن ح س اب ه م إ لا ع ل ى ر بي ل و ت ش ع ر ون 113. "In fact, their account is but upon my Lord, if you are aware." و م ا أ ن ا ب ط ار د ال م و م ن ين 114. "And not am I to expel the faithful." إ ن أ ن ا إ لا ن ذ یر مب ين 115. "In fact, I am but a manifest warner."
Page 9 of 16 ق ال وا ل ي ن لم ت نت ه ی ا ن وح ل ت ك ون ن م ن ال م ر ج وم ين 116. They said, "Surely if you cease not, O Noah, you will surely be from the stoned." ق ال ر ب إ ن ق و م ي آ ذب ون 117. He said, "My Lord, assuredly my people belied me." ف اف ت ح ب ي ن ي و ب ي ن ه م ف ت ح ا و ن جن ي و م ن مع ي م ن ال م و م ن ين 118. "So ingress between me and them an ingression, and rescue me and whoever is with me from the faithful." ف ا نج ي ن اه و م ن م ع ه ف ي ال ف ل ك ال م ش ح ون 119. So We rescued him, and whoever was with him, in the laden watercraft. ث م أ غ ر ق ن ا ب ع د ال ب اق ين 120. Then We drowned, afterwards, those remaining. إ ن ف ي ذ ل ك ل ا ی ة و م ا آ ان أ آ ث ر ه م مو م ن ين 121. Assuredly in that is a sign, and not were the abundance of them faithful. و إ ن ر بك ل ه و ال ع ز یز ال رح يم 122. And assuredly your Lord is surely He, The Esteemed, The Most Merciful. آ ذب ت ع اد ال م ر س ل ين 123. Belied did 'Aad, the messengers. إ ذ ق ال ل ه م أ خ وه م ه ود أ ل ا ت تق ون 124. For, said to them did their brother Hud, "Do you venerate not?" إ ني ل ك م ر س ول أ م ين 125. "Assuredly I am unto you a trustworthy messenger." ف ا تق وا ال له و أ ط يع ون 126. "So venerate Allah, and obey me." و م ا أ س ا ل ك م ع ل ي ه م ن أ ج ر إ ن أ ج ر ي إ لا ع ل ى ر ب ال ع ال م ين 127. "And I ask you not for it any reward, in fact my reward is but upon the Lord of the worlds." أ ت ب ن ون ب ك ل ر یع ا ی ة ت ع ب ث ون 128. "Do you build in every upland a sign, dallying?" و ت تخ ذ ون م ص ان ع ل ع لك م ت خ ل د ون 129. "And you take to production so you might be eternal." و إ ذ ا ب ط ش ت م ب ط ش ت م ج بار ین 130. "And when you assault, you assault as compellers."
Page 10 of 16 ف ا تق وا ال له و أ ط يع ون 131. "So venerate Allah, and obey me." و ا تق وا ا لذ ي أ م دآ م ب م ا ت ع ل م ون 132. "And venerate the One who extended to you what you know." أ م دآ م ب ا ن ع ام و ب ن ين 133. "He extended to you livestock and children..." و ج نات و ع ي ون 134. "...and gardens, and springs." إ ني أ خ اف ع ل ي ك م ع ذ اب ی و م ع ظ يم 135. "Assuredly I fear for you the torment of a grand day." ق ال وا س و اء ع ل ي ن ا أ و ع ظ ت أ م ل م ت ك ن من ال و اع ظ ين 136. They said, "It is equal to us whether you exhort or are not from the exhorters." إ ن ه ذ ا إ لا خ ل ق ال ا ول ين 137. "Assuredly this is but the temperament of the earlier (ones)." و م ا ن ح ن ب م ع ذب ين 138. "And not are we to be from the tormented." ف ك ذب وه ف ا ه ل ك ن اه م إ ن ف ي ذ ل ك ل ا ی ة و م ا آ ان أ آ ث ر ه م مو م ن ين 139. So they belied him, thus We destroyed them. Assuredly in that is a sign, and not were the abundance of them faithful. و إ ن ر بك ل ه و ال ع ز یز ال رح يم 140. And assuredly your Lord is surely He, The Esteemed, The Most Merciful. آ ذب ت ث م ود ال م ر س ل ين 141. Belied did Thamud, the messengers. إ ذ ق ال ل ه م أ خ وه م ص ال ح أ ل ا ت تق ون 142. For, said to them did their brother Saleh, "Do you venerate not?" إ ني ل ك م ر س ول أ م ين 143. "Assuredly I am unto you a trustworthy messenger." ف ا تق وا ال له و أ ط يع ون 144. "So venerate Allah, and obey me." و م ا أ س ا ل ك م ع ل ي ه م ن أ ج ر إ ن أ ج ر ي إ لا ع ل ى ر ب ال ع ال م ين 145. "And I ask you not for it any reward, in fact my reward is but upon the Lord of the worlds."
Page 11 of 16 أ ت ت ر آ ون ف ي م ا ه اه ن ا ا م ن ين 146. "Are you to be left in what is right here, secure?" ف ي ج نات و ع ي ون 147. "In gardens and springs... و ز ر وع و ن خ ل ط ل ع ه ا ه ض يم 148. "...and plants and palms of lush emergence?" و ت ن ح ت ون م ن ال ج ب ال ب ي وت ا ف ار ه ين 149. "And you carve from the mountains homes, deftly." ف ا تق وا ال له و أ ط يع ون 150. "So venerate Allah, and obey me." و ل ا ت ط يع وا أ م ر ال م س ر ف ين 151. "And obey not the order of the excessive." ا لذ ین ی ف س د ون ف ي ال ا ر ض و ل ا ی ص ل ح ون 152. "The ones who corrupt on Earth and they rectify not." ق ال وا إ نم ا أ نت م ن ال م س حر ین 153. They said, "Indeed, you are from the ensorcelled." م ا أ نت إ لا ب ش ر مث ل ن ا ف ا ت ب ا ی ة إ ن آ نت م ن ال صاد ق ين 154. "And you are naught but a human similar to us; so bring a sign if you are ever from the truthful." ق ال ه ذ ه ن اق ة له ا ش ر ب و ل ك م ش ر ب ی و م مع ل وم 155. He said, "This is a she-camel, for her is a drink and for you is a drink; (each) on a known day." و ل ا ت م سوه ا ب س وء ف ي ا خ ذ آ م ع ذ اب ی و م ع ظ يم 156. "And touch her not with ill lest takes you does the torment of a grand day." ف ع ق ر وه ا ف ا ص ب ح وا ن اد م ين 157. So they wounded her, thus they became regretful. ف ا خ ذ ه م ال ع ذ اب إ ن ف ي ذ ل ك ل ا ی ة و م ا آ ان أ آ ث ر ه م مو م ن ين 158. So took them did the torment; assuredly in that is a sign, and not were the abundance of them faithful. و إ ن ر بك ل ه و ال ع ز یز ال رح يم 159. And assuredly your Lord is surely He, The Esteemed, The Most Merciful. آ ذب ت ق و م ل وط ال م ر س ل ين 160. Belied did the people of Lot, the messengers.
Page 12 of 16 إ ذ ق ال ل ه م أ خ وه م ل وط أ ل ا ت تق ون 161. For, said to them did their brother Lot, "Do you venerate not?" إ ني ل ك م ر س ول أ م ين 162. "Assuredly I am unto you a trustworthy messenger." ف ا تق وا ال له و أ ط يع ون 163. "So venerate Allah, and obey me." و م ا أ س ا ل ك م ع ل ي ه م ن أ ج ر إ ن أ ج ر ي إ لا ع ل ى ر ب ال ع ال م ين 164. "And I ask you not for it any reward, in fact my reward is but upon the Lord of the worlds." أ ت ا ت ون ال ذآ ر ان م ن ال ع ال م ين 165. "Do you approach the males of the worlds..." و ت ذ ر ون م ا خ ل ق ل ك م ر بك م م ن أ ز و اج ك م ب ل أ نت م ق و م ع اد ون 166. "...and leave what created for you did your Lord as your spouses? Rather, you are transgressing people." ق ال وا ل ي ن لم ت نت ه ی ا ل وط ل ت ك ون ن م ن ال م خ ر ج ين 167. They said, "Surely if you cease not, O Lot, you will surely be from the evicted." ق ال إ ني ل ع م ل ك م من ال ق ال ين 168. He said, "Assuredly I am unto your deeds from the loathing (ones)." ر ب ن جن ي و أ ه ل ي م ما ی ع م ل ون 169. "My Lord, rescue me and my family from what they do." ف ن جي ن اه و أ ه ل ه أ ج م ع ين 170. So We rescued him and his family, all together. إ لا ع ج وز ا ف ي ال غ اب ر ین 171. Except a senile with those left behind. ث م د مر ن ا ال ا خ ر ین 172. Then We destroyed the others. و أ م ط ر ن ا ع ل ي ه م مط ر ا ف س اء م ط ر ال م نذ ر ین 173. And We rained upon them rain, so ill was the rain of the warned. إ ن ف ي ذ ل ك ل ا ی ة و م ا آ ان أ آ ث ر ه م مو م ن ين 174. Assuredly in that is a sign, and not were the abundance of them faithful. و إ ن ر بك ل ه و ال ع ز یز ال رح يم 175. And assuredly your Lord is surely He, The Esteemed, The Most Merciful.
Page 13 of 16 آ ذب أ ص ح اب ال ا ی ك ة ال م ر س ل ين 176. Belied did the Companions of The Thicket, the messengers. إ ذ ق ال ل ه م ش ع ي ب أ ل ا ت تق ون 177. For, said to them did Shu'aib, "Do you venerate not?" إ ني ل ك م ر س ول أ م ين 178. "Assuredly I am unto you a trustworthy messenger." ف ا تق وا ال له و أ ط يع ون 179. "So venerate Allah, and obey me." و م ا أ س ا ل ك م ع ل ي ه م ن أ ج ر إ ن أ ج ر ي إ لا ع ل ى ر ب ال ع ال م ين 180. "And I ask you not for it any reward, in fact my reward is but upon the Lord of the worlds." أ و ف وا ال ك ي ل و ل ا ت ك ون وا م ن ال م خ س ر ین 181. "Fulfill the measure and be not from those causing loss." و ز ن وا ب ال ق س ط اس ال م س ت ق يم 182. "And weigh with a straight scale." و ل ا ت ب خ س وا ال ناس أ ش ي اءه م و ل ا ت ع ث و ا ف ي ال ا ر ض م ف س د ین 183. "And depreciate not for people, their things; and ravage not on Earth, corrupting." و ا تق وا ا لذ ي خ ل ق ك م و ال ج ب لة ال ا ول ين 184. "And venerate the One who created you and the earlier entities." ق ال وا إ نم ا أ نت م ن ال م س حر ین 185. They said, "Indeed you are from the ensorcelled." و م ا أ نت إ لا ب ش ر مث ل ن ا و إ ن ن ظ ن ك ل م ن ال ك اذ ب ين 186. "And you are naught but a human similar to us; and in fact, we surmise you to be surely from the liars." ف ا س ق ط ع ل ي ن ا آ س ف ا من ال سم اء إ ن آ نت م ن ال صاد ق ين 187. "So drop upon us pieces from the sky, if you are ever from the truthful." ق ال ر بي أ ع ل م ب م ا ت ع م ل ون 188. He said, "My Lord is most knowledgeable in what you perform." ف ك ذب وه ف ا خ ذ ه م ع ذ اب ی و م ال ظ لة إ ن ه آ ان ع ذ اب ی و م ع ظ يم 189. So they belied him, thus took them did the torment of the Day of Shade; assuredly it was ever the torment of a grand day.
Page 14 of 16 إ ن ف ي ذ ل ك ل ا ی ة و م ا آ ان أ آ ث ر ه م مو م ن ين 190. Assuredly in that is a sign, and not were the abundance of them faithful. و إ ن ر بك ل ه و ال ع ز یز ال رح يم 191. And assuredly your Lord is surely He, The Esteemed, The Most Merciful. و إ نه ل ت نز یل ر ب ال ع ال م ين 192. And assuredly it is the descension of the Lord of the worlds. ن ز ل ب ه ال روح ال ا م ين 193. Descended with it did the Trusted Spirit... ع ل ى ق ل ب ك ل ت ك ون م ن ال م نذ ر ین 194....upon your heart for you to be from the warners... ب ل س ان ع ر ب ي مب ين 195....in a manifest Arabic tongue. و إ نه ل ف ي ز ب ر ال ا ول ين 196. And assuredly it is surely in the earlier codices. أ و ل م ی ك ن له م ا ی ة أ ن ی ع ل م ه ع ل م اء ب ن ي إ س ر اي يل 197. Was it not unto them a sign that knew it did the scholars of the Children of Israel? و ل و ن زل ن اه ع ل ى ب ع ض ال ا ع ج م ين 198. And if We descended it upon some (one) of the non-natives... ف ق ر أ ه ع ل ي ه م ما آ ان وا ب ه م و م ن ين 199....then he read it unto them, they would not ever be in it faithful. آ ذ ل ك س ل ك ن اه ف ي ق ل وب ال م ج ر م ين 200. Thus, We set it into the cores of the malefactors... ل ا ی و م ن ون ب ه ح تى ی ر و ا ال ع ذ اب ال ا ل يم 201....not will they have faith in it until they see the painful torment. ف ي ا ت ي ه م ب غ ت ة و ه م ل ا ی ش ع ر ون 202. So it arrives to them suddenly while they are not aware. ف ي ق ول وا ه ل ن ح ن م نظ ر ون 203. So they say, "Are we to be reprieved?" أ ف ب ع ذ اب ن ا ی س ت ع ج ل ون 204. So for Our torment are they hastening?
Page 15 of 16 أ ف ر أ ی ت إ ن م تع ن اه م س ن ين 205. So, do you see (how) if We pleasured them (for) years... ث م ج اءه م ما آ ان وا ی وع د ون 206....then came to them did what they were ever promised... م ا أ غ ن ى ع ن ه م ما آ ان وا ی م تع ون 207....enriches them not does that with which they were pleasured? و م ا أ ه ل ك ن ا م ن ق ر ی ة إ لا ل ه ا م نذ ر ون 208. And not did We destroy any village except (that) unto it were warners... ذ آ ر ى و م ا آ نا ظ ال م ين 209....(as) a reminder; and not were We ever oppressors. و م ا ت ن زل ت ب ه الش ي اط ين 210. And descended not with it did the devils. و م ا ی نب غ ي ل ه م و م ا ی س ت ط يع ون 211. And not is it befitting for them, and not are they able. إ نه م ع ن ال سم ع ل م ع ز ول ون 212. Assuredly they are from the hearing, surely isolated. ف ل ا ت د ع م ع ال له إ ل ه ا ا خ ر ف ت ك ون م ن ال م ع ذب ين 213. So call not with Allah another god lest you be from the tormented. و أ نذ ر ع ش ير ت ك ال ا ق ر ب ين 214. And warn your nearest clan. و اخ ف ض ج ن اح ك ل م ن ا تب ع ك م ن ال م و م ن ين 215. And lower your wing to whoever follows you from the faithful. ف ا ن ع ص و ك ف ق ل إ ني ب ر يء م ما ت ع م ل ون 216. So if they disobey you, say: "Assuredly I am exonerated from what you perform." و ت و آل ع ل ى ال ع ز یز ال رح يم 217. And rely upon The Esteemed, The Most Merciful. ا لذ ي ی ر اك ح ين ت ق وم 218. The One who sees you when you rise... و ت ق لب ك ف ي ال ساج د ین 219....and your rotation among the prostrating (ones).
Page 16 of 16 إ ن ه ه و ال سم يع ال ع ل يم 220. Assuredly He is The Most Hearing, The Most Knowledgeable. ه ل أ ن ب ي ك م ع ل ى م ن ت ن زل الش ي اط ين 221. Shall I apprise you (of) upon who the devils descend? ت ن زل ع ل ى آ ل أ فاك أ ث يم 222. They descend upon every wicked hoaxer. ی ل ق ون ال سم ع و أ آ ث ر ه م آ اذ ب ون 223. They cast the hearing and the abundance of them are liars. و ال شع ر اء ی ت ب ع ه م ال غ او ون 224. And the poets, follow them do the strayers. أ ل م ت ر أ نه م ف ي آ ل و اد ی ه يم ون 225. Did you not see that in fact they, in every valley, rove? و أ نه م ی ق ول ون م ا ل ا ی ف ع ل ون 226. And in fact, they say that which they do not do. إ لا ا لذ ین ا م ن وا و ع م ل وا ال صال ح ات و ذ آ ر وا ال له آ ث يرا و انت ص ر وا م ن ب ع د م ا ظ ل م وا و س ي ع ل م ا لذ ین ظ ل م وا أ ي م نق ل ب ی نق ل ب ون 227. Except the ones who had faith and performed righteousness, and remembered Allah abundantly, and championed (themselves) after they were oppressed; and they will know, the ones who oppressed, to what recourse they will invert.
