Juventus International Camp Umag, Istria, Croatia 30 June - 6 July 2013 and 7-13 July 2013 1. INITIATIVE Juventus International Camp is a project aimed at boys and girls aged 8 to 16 who would like to enjoy an exciting vacation and improve their football skills, regardless of their skill level, as well as have fun in the process. This project meets the expectations of all participants in the best possible way. The participants get a chance to have an active, healthy, safe and educational vacation in the colours of Juventus! For the summer of 2013 Juventus International selected a beautiful hotel and sports facility in Umag which will host the camp for two weeks and is available only in Croatia. 1 st camp: 30 June - 6 July 2013 2 nd camp: 7 July - 13 July 2013 (also available for girls) Juventus International football courses programme in Umag will be conducted by coaching experts who were trained for this exact purpose at the Juventus Academy. Training programmes are proposed according to the age, level and skills of each young participant. The aim is to ensure that everyone improves their technical and tactical skills in accordance with the Juventus method, but also to have fun on an unforgettable vacation. The proposed technical programme in the camp is of the highest quality. Each training session is carefully supervised by one of the coaches from Juventus International and there is one additional coach for every 12 participants! All technical and sports programmes that are applied during the camp activities have been carefully developed at the Juventus International research centre in cooperation with the Higher Institute of Physical Education at the University of Turin. All participants get their own Nike sports equipment kit. Goalkeepers are enrolled in a special programme. Besides sports activities, Juventus International offers all participants exciting and entertaining non-football activities devised by experts with the aim of creating a sensational week of sports and entertainment for our young guests. Besides an exciting and constructive vacation at one of the best tourist resorts in Croatia, the camp aims at providing a proper education about sports and football, which is closely related to the world of Juventus, the club that has always stood for style, elegance and success. All this will be implemented through entertainment, which is a guarantee of an unforgettable and unique experience for every participant. There are two possibilities to participate in the camp: "Residential Camp" is where the young athlete takes part in all the proposed activities and stays at the hotel together with his/her family this way the family gets the chance to
relax at the tourist resort where the camp takes place or without parents, but under the guidance of one of expert counsellors. "Day Camp" means that the participant takes part in all sports and non-football activities, but at the end of the day he/she leaves the camp to return the next day. The decision to enter Juventus International can simply be described as the following decision: To discover in yourself a secret code which will turn you into the protagonist of an emotional experience that only Juventus International can give! 2. VENUE The venue for Juventus International is the beautiful town of Umag, situated near the Italian border. The camp headquarters will be in an attractive tourist resort. Thanks to the perfect location, stunning beaches, non-stop entertainment and very important hotel facilities, the town of Umag has become one of the top tourist destinations in Croatia. The prestigious JSS event takes places at the prestigious surroundings of the STELLA MARIS RESORT. The Resort was restored in 2012 and provides every possible advantage. The Resort is located in the heart of an immense tourist district, within the picturesque beach "Lagoon" in the immediate vicinity of the site of the JSS Sports Centre which consists of brand new changing rooms and three football fields, two in natural grass and one in syntetic grass of the latest generation. 3. PROGRAMME We recommend you to check in at the "STELLA MARIS RESORT" reception in Umag in between noon and 4 p.m. on the planned day of arrival depending on the selected camp. You will be greeted by coaches and staff who will give you an official NIKE Juventus International sports equipment kit and the programme of camp activities. You will also get all the information about your stay and motivational activities. There are two possibilities of participation in the camp: "DAY CAMP" PROGRAMME Camp participants who opt for the "DAY CAMP" programme (no stay included) work with our staff from 9 am until 7 pm. Afterwards, the participants go back to their parents or those who accompany them. "RESIDENTIAL CAMP" PROGRAMME Those who opt for the "RESIDENTIAL CAMP" programme (tourist resort stay included) will be taken care of by our staff the whole week. In the afternoon of the day of arrival, after the introduction, young athletes will do their first test training in order to get to know each other, to get closer with highly qualified coaches from Juventus International, to feel the pitch and become a part of the Juventus atmosphere.
In the following days there will be two daily soccer school trainings, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. There will also be various entertaining activities in the camp (pool activities, sea activities, excursions, relaxation) under the guidance of experts and qualified staff. We recommend you to bring the following clothes and equipment: - One pair of football boots with 13 studs and, if possible, one pair of sneakers for indoor football. If you take a new pair of sneakers, we recommend you to take an old pair of sneakers as well in case you get calluses. - Shin guards - Underwear for the whole week and personal hygiene products - Bathrobe - Sneakers for exercise - Pool slippers, bathing suit and a beach towel All common medicines are available at a nearby pharmacy.
