Accelerated Corrosion Test Chambers Salt Spray The Series Chambers create an humid atmosphere with NaCl (salt), which is completely controlled. The samples are exposed to that atmosphere, and in a short period of time that simulates what would have happened if those samples were exposed to that during real weathering (long period of time). The series Chambers are also used for comparing the results of the protective treatments over the samples, like protective oils, paintings, metallic and non-metallic coating, and on). The Series Chambers are specially designed to attend the international standards related to this kind of test. This fact is extremely important for obtaining much more accurate and realistic results. The Salt Spray test is actually comparative, so all the construction settings and the manufacturing process have a major importance in the results.
