SF6 Top Up Management
Summary SF6 Arc Breakdown products affected by the level of impurities. SF6 leaks must be minimised-controls will only get tighter on the use and reduction of leaks. IEC/ASTM and CIGRE Recommend testing on New & In-service SF6 for maintenance and safety. All test equipment must be portable & simple to use. Gas sampling technique / materials very important.
