This will be the first time the Blue Hose and Roadrunners have faced each other, while PC takes on Mercer for the seventh time in program history. The Previous Week In Review The Blue Hose are coming off of a 5-0 win over Hampton Sunday afternoon. Not only did PC shutout the Pirates, they also held them to zero shots, while taking 4 of their own. Friday s game against Furman was postponed due to inclement weather. Series History CSU Bakersfield: First Meeting Mercer: Mercer leads 6-0-0 The last time the two teams squared off in Clinton, Mercer emerged victorious 4-0. 206 Blue Hose Women s Soccer Match Notes Previous Three Games vs. California State Bakersfield First Meeting Scouting the Competition California State Bakersfield: CSUB enters the contest -2- overall this season. The Roadrunner s lone victory this year came against Fresno State on August 2. CSUB has lost both of its road games this year with a 2-0 loss to Sacramento State, and a 4- loss to Loyola Marymount. Sophomore Sabrina Delgado leads the team in goals with two, points with four and shots with 2. Redshirt-sophomore Aminah Settles leads the team in assists with two. The Roadrunners have been outscored 8-5 this season, and scored a season-high four goals in the win over Fresno State. Six of the eight goals allowed by CSUB have come in the second half of games. Jen Padilla has been in goal for most of the season for the Roadrunners. She s recorded 20 saves while allowing eight goals.
