This has financial and engineering implications, and also affects maintenance procedures and road safety audits. Overcoming these challenges will be a priority in this session. Across provinces and municipalities is a lack of standard process when there is a road block. Practical solutions such as training requirements for auditors as well as initiatives that encourages thoroughness from project development right through to construction need to be emphasized.
