Tomahawk Original Series traps are the strongest, most reliable, and most durable traps available. These traps are constructed with galvanized wire mesh frames, and have steel reinforcing rods welded to the frame for added strength. The entire trap is galvanized to provide maximum protection against rust and corrosion. Our traps are made in the USA at our facility in Wisconsin. And each trap is quality inspected and tested before it is shipped to you, our valued customer. Additional features include: Spring loaded trap doors. Spring loaded trap doors quickly snap into place preventing animals from backing out when the trap sets. Locking trap doors. Locking trap doors prevent animals from escaping, even if the trap is turned over or flipped completely upside down. Strategic mesh patterns. Tighter wire mesh pattern around bait areas prevent animals from reaching into the trap and steeling bait from the outside. Adjustable trigger. Easy adjusting trigger system allows for light or heavy trap sets. Large hand protectors. Hand guards under trap handles on most models protect handlers against animal scratches. Great selection. A wide variety of trap sizes in several categories to choose from. Catch small rodents on up to large dogs. Categories in the Tomahawk Original Series include: Rigid Traps with Two Trap Doors and Easy Release Door Rigid Traps with One Trap Door Collapsible Traps with One Trap Door Collapsible Traps with Two Trap Doors 5

product highlights Superior strength - Rigid traps are stronger and more durable than collapsible traps. Very affordable - These traps have a single trap door and do not have a back door. This means animals must be released through the same door from which they entered the trap. The single trap door design makes this category more affordable than most of our other trap categories. Rigid Traps with Two Trap Doors product highlights Calms weary animals - Trap doors at both ends allow animals to see through the trap without obstruction and enter with confidence. Allows entry from either end - Trap doors at both ends allow animals to enter the trap from either end, increasing your chances of success. Two locking trap doors - When an animal sets off the trap by stepping on the trip pan, both spring loaded doors simultaneously snap shut and lock into place, making escape virtually impossible. The best trapping method for double door traps is the funnel or drift method. This method works well with armadillos, raccoons, and opossums. Try to place the trap against a building or existing structure and angle a 2 x 6 board at one end of the trap away from the entrance. Repeat on the opposite side. Armadillos do not see very well, and will follow the boards right into the trap. Be careful the boards do not prevent the trap doors from closing. Another variation for trapping armadillo is to use four boards, placing one board at each edge of the trap, and angle them away from the entrance. Let the trap sit for a few days, making sure to check it daily. After trapping your first armadillo, place the trap back into its original location. The smell from the first armadillo will attract a second. 8
