On Friday Grade Two went to Melbourne Museum. We went on a big bus and 2P went on a small bus. I was so excited that I almost exploded like a volcano erupting! I heard lots of people chatting and yelling. On the bus I almost vomited! By Hamish I saw the.the.the. Giant Squid! I felt like bait when I saw the Giant Squid. I thought I was in the deep sea. I felt like I was a midget. I could smell it! It smelt disgusting! By Vincent On Friday 11 th September, all of the Grade Twos went to the Melbourne Museum. We saw some dinosaur skeletons. I think that the biggest skeleton was the Mamechiosuarus. After that we went to the sea section. There was a giant squid. It was dead, of course. After that we went to the bug part. If there were no buttons, I wasn t interested. I just loved pushing all those lovely buttons! I really liked the excursion and I wish that I was still at the museum. By Haley On Friday the 11 th September Year 2D went to the Melbourne Museum and I saw a huge skeleton of a flying dinosaur reptile that was the size of a plane. I was amazed! It was incredible! By Edward On Friday Grade Two went to the museum and I thought I saw a Tyrannosaur, but it was not it. It was smaller than the Tyrannosaurus. It was a Fabrosuarus. I felt interested and super. It was fantastic, it was really, really, cool. I heard people excitedly talking to each other. It smelt like dirt and looked really big. By Lachie
By Olive When I first got into the museum I saw skeletons, but when I saw them I thought they were real and they were like above me and almost ate me. (WOW!) When I was still looking at the skeletons, I saw a SEE THROUGH glass window and inside was a fossil of a dinosaur s bone. (AHH SCAREY!) By Cate
As I walked into the gemstone area, I saw glittering stones shining in the glass case. I saw glittering stones sapphires, Lapis, Jade, Adventurine, but my favourite was a HUGE polished slab of rock. It was as tall as a table. When I leant against it I felt safe and relaxed. It had a mix of gold, brown, black and a beautiful silver, making an amazing pattern all together. There were so many rocks that I loved, especially the polished slab and a beautiful little glimmering piece of blue sapphire that caught my eye. I loved the gemstones! By Sophie
