About the Show THE UK S FIRST MAJOR CONSUMER EVENT FOR CRICKET ENTHUSIASTS AND THOSE LOOKING TO GET INTO THE GAME. The National Cricket Show is a brand new experiential event designed to provide cricketers and those interested in cricket, with an interactive platform to try, test, compare and buy new kit, meet their friends and make new ones all sharing the same passion CRICKET. The Exhibition will provide the game with an annual focal point where visitors will experience one of the most exciting, informative, inspiring and action packed days of their year. Particular attention is given to young and new players, encouraging schools and youth groups to teach and play more cricket. The show will attract thousands of cricket enthusiasts of all ages and backgrounds, along with coaches, managers and officials nationwide. They will descend on the NEC for the ultimate cricket event in April 2016. Visitors will also enjoy a range of exciting and interactive features that will add to their experience of a great and memorable day out. The Main Stage Cricketing hero s will be interviewed live on the main stage, sharing their thoughts and a few anecdotes and fielding questions from the audience. The Fan Zone Visitors can meet cricket legends and current stars who will be available for a chat, autographs, bat signing and posing for selfies. Cricket Commentary Challenge Visitors may like to try their hand in our virtual commentary box and a chance to win tickets to the Ashes. The Strike Zone The Strike Zone will provide practice nets where visitors can test and compare kit have their skills monitored and analysed and face bowling from County players. The Cricket Club Theatre A special VIP area set aside for club managers and administrators, teachers and coaches to attend seminars and workshops focused on running clubs, looking after grounds and organising teams.
