CAT TRACKS 2 WinterSpring 2013 Lions Christmas Tree Lot 2012 Although a bit late with this article the Chanhassen Lions Tree lot at Cub Foods was very successful again this season. The trees arrived the day after Thanksgiving and, as usual, there was a nice crew of volunteers to help unload and display the trees. Sales started that day and the lot was officially closed at the end of the day on Sunday December 9 th. A self-serve (pay at Cub) was then arranged for the remaining trees and all trees were gone within a week or so thereafter. Tree Lot co-chairs Dave Hess, Ed Ginsbach and Jim Lyon were pleased to report that the net proceeds exceeded $15,000 for the first time ever! Dave, Ed and Jim would like to thank everyone that volunteered their precious time during this busy time of the year. Kids Raffle Results The winner of the Rip Stik skateboard was 10 year old Justin Dennis of Shakopee and the winner of the Razor scooter was 7 year old Charlotte Carney of Chanhassen.
