PRESENTATION Open to all Ba Gua Zhang " 8 Trigram Boxing" is one of the Three martial arts, such as Tai Ji and Xing Yi Quan, described as "internal art". The origin of its teachings is based on the Yi Jing sacred book "The Book of Mutations", which Confucius considered as belonging to the Classics of Chinese literature. There are 8 styles of Ba Gua Zhang, among which the celebrated Yin Fu and Chengshi Ba Gua from Master Cheng Ting Hua. Bagua specificity is based on the style of walking which is executed in circle, this is accompanied by powerful Palm Strikes. This technique enables a body to body control of the adversary in order to ensnare him. This handsome martial art seduces by its fluidity and the circular movements imposed on the whole body. Kicks are seldom used in Bagua Zhang, but weapons can be practiced such as light sword and Yin Yang Ye a specific Ba Gua weapon. During the first year the "WALK" will be studied together with the 8 basic Palm positions (Ji Chu Ba Zhang). 8 short forms will also be studied during the first year, these belong to the Cheng Ting Hua School. During the second year, the 8 ancient Palms (Lao Ba Zhang) will be studied, together with 4 or 5 forms.

End of Training Workshop and Diploma in China in July 2004 This Two Year Kung Fu Training is subject to an end-of-training examination in France, following which a diploma of the Wan Laisheng Association will be delivered to successful candidates. -----0000OO0000----A further optional one-month training in China can be attended. This training will open access to a Chinese Diploma following an independent set of examination.

Sunday from 9h30 to 12h30 and from 14h30 to 17h. An opportunity is offered to students of the Traditional Xing Yi Quan Advanced Training Programme to take a further optional one-month training in China. APPLICATION AND PRACTICAL INFORMATION Length of Training : 2 years including : 5 week-ends and 1 One-Week Training Workshop In the Auvergne Province Fees : The 2 year-training Programme is paid monthly at the cost of : 100 per month during 20 months = 2000 + 200 Registration Fees : giving a total amount of 2200 The two-year training is validated by a final examination held in, following which, a Diploma of Wan Laisheng Association will be delivered taking into account the student s achievements. For the next Training Session starting in Septembre 2008, your Application as well as the following documents should be received before 1st MARCH 2008. The filled-in Application form A letter stating your martial experience, and your expectations from this training 2 photos (I D format) A medical certificate allowing martial practice A Cheque of 200 for Registration Fees covering : insurance, Federation Registration (FFWaemec - Chinese WUSHU and Energetics French Federation) as well as the supply of your practice uniform. If your application is selected we will inform you by mail of telephone. NB : Regular attendance is mandatory.
