EVENT INFORMATION

MASERATI TOUR DE YORKSHIRE RIDE Thank you for registering to take part in the Maserati Tour de Yorkshire Ride, a unique opportunity for sportive riders in the UK to experience the Tour de France legacy, on many of the roads used in last year s Yorkshire Grand Départ. The ride will start and finish at Roundhay Park, Leeds on Sunday, May 3 and will precede the third and final stage of the Tour de Yorkshire Pro race later that day. Maserati Cycling is a new programme designed to celebrate the marque s affinity with the sport and to offer a series of unique experiences for Britain s road cyclists. The rapid growth of road cycling in the UK has been particularly evident amongst Maserati customers and employees, whose passion for performance, sporting excellence and design provides a natural conduit to the sport. Through Maserati Cycling, the company will aim to embrace this passion and is committed to supporting its continued growth. Maserati Cycling ambassador, David Millar, will be taking part in the Ride and has provided some expert insight into the particular challenges presented by the route s climbs. The Scot, one of only two Britons to have worn the leader s jersey at all three Grands Tours, is a lifelong Maserati fan and lists the Maserati Ghibli II 2.8 GT as his dream car. In line with its ambition of enhancing the experience of the British cycling community, Maserati has recruited Michelin-starred chef, Alan Murchison, an age group duathlon world champion, to apply his skills at one of the ride feed stations. The exact menu remain under wraps, but Murchison is excited by the challenge of feeding the hungry riders with some Yorkshire themed recipes with an Italian twist. Good Luck!

Once you have received your pack, you do not need to register on Saturday 2 nd May or on arrival at the venue on event day. HELMET AND BIKE STICKERS These stickers, printed with your event number, should be affixed as follows: One small one to the FRONT of your helmet (so we can identify you from the front) One small one on the bottom of your coloured card The long one around your seat post pointing backwards (so we can identify you from the side) 4.
