This will be the 2 nd year of the tournament in Austin, Round Rock, Taylor and Georgetown. Attached is a guide of almost everything you need to know about the tournament. Read through it carefully. Don t hesitate to express your concerns, feedback, and compliments to our Triple Crown staff at each of your ballparks. Please remember to approach them in a respectful manner. From the umpires, staff, coaches, players, and fans, we will all make mistakes during the course of the event however, we re all here for the same reason.fun and the love of the game. All players and coaches will turn right and head to the staging area for the parade of teams around the warning track. Parents will turn left and head to the stands. - Each team will parade around the warning track to designated seats in the stands. -Bring your team banner. -Costumes welcome, show your team pride! -Please DO NOT bring any items to throw or that will disrupt or collect trash on the playing field. 6:00pm- Parade of teams around the warning track. - After all teams have been announced, Jennie Ritter (former Michigan pitcher, ESPN analyst, and Slugger representative) will address the crowd. - Bring your pins to trade Food on Site: Players and coaches will eat for FREE. Parents, fans, siblings, other will be $10/person paid at the concession at Dell Diamond. Your meal deal will include a Dell Diamond Dog, Chips, Cookie, and a bottle of water. On the mezzanine concourse inside the stadium there will be vendors, tournament t-shirts and apparel items for sale. There will also be entertainment provided by local Austin musicians, Aaron Navarro Band. If you or anyone on your team PRE ORDERED t shirts, these can be picked up @ Dell Diamond during opening ceremonies. Items will be bundled by team purchases into ONE bag(s) to be picked up by ONE person. Session 2- Wednesday, July 20 th - 6pm @ Krieg Complex July 20th- 8am pool play games start. Scores, Weather Updates, and Pocket Updates During the tournament, there will NOT be a weather hotline or phone number to call with questions and/or concerns. All updates for weather and scores will be on our website or via our mobile site from your phone. You may also ask your Triple Crown Site Director for information. Schedules and Results are always posted online, with up to date scores and updates. 7. Playing Facilities Please respect the rules at your ballparks. Some may be more strict than others. Tournament Merchandise If you pre ordered shirts, these can be picked up at Dell Diamond or Krieg Complex on Opening Ceremony day. o Individual orders will be bundled into ONE TEAM BAG for pick up of all items together. T-shirts, hats, and other merchandise available. Cash or Credit Card only. No checks. Game Schedules: Game schedules will be posted online under Schedules. Schedules will remain online and also be displayed at your playing facility. Check back often for updates or changes. 10. Connie Clark Player Skills Camp It will provide basic fundamental instruction and help participants maximize their potential as softball players. Few coaches can boast of successful 20-year spans in their careers, and even fewer can claim such a run at the beginning of their head coaching days. Since starting The University of Texas softball program in 1996, head coach Connie Clark has built one of the most successful programs in college softball. In 18 varsity seasons, Clark has given Texas Softball its reputation for having the best players, facilities, traditions and coaches. When people talk about Texas Softball, they talk about only one thing: success. Per NCAA rules, sports camps and clinics conducted by The University of Texas are open to all entrants. Enrollment is limited only by age, grade level, gender, and capacity restrictions as specified by each clinic

At the ballpark- Game Days General Game Day rules: Pool Play can end in a tie. Pool play to double elimination bracket play. 1. Game Time Limits: 1 hour 30 minute, finish the inning 2. Run Rule for ALL age groups: 10 runs after 4, 8 runs after 5 3. It is NOT free substitution or bat your lineup during any game. Each team will need to turn in a lineup at the home plate meeting. o See TC Lineup options on the website under Rules (Straight 9, DP/Flex, 10 hitters, DP/FLEX/EH options) 4. Basic ASA rules with line up modifications. 5. ALL GAMES will flip for home team, except in the Championship game. The undefeated team will take home. In and if game, coin flip. 6. Game balls will be provided 7. Championship Games will be 7 innings. If necessary games will be timed 1:30 finish the inning. 8. Umpires will have ONE scorecard at the beginning of each game given to them by the TC site director. Coaches are to verify the score after the game. TC site directors will enter the score provided to them from the scorecard from the game umpire. 9. NO PROTEST TOURNAMENT Pool Play Tie Breaker Rules: (max run differential is +/-7 runs (Ex. If you beat a team 13-3, you only get a +7 win or -7 loss) 1. Win/Loss 2. Head to Head (If there is a 3-way tie, tie breaker goes straight to Run Differential) 3. Run Differential 4. Runs Against
5. Runs Scored 6. Coin Flip Teams Listed first or on top of the bracket will occupy 3 rd base unless playing back to back. Scorecards will be used for all games. EACH team is responsible for verifying the score after the game with the umpires. ASA rules with Triple Crown lineup modifications (use of DP/Flex & EP(the EP can either be an extra player or extra hitter (EH)) Click here for sample lineup options. In pool play and bracket, It is NOT free substitution and it is NOT bat your lineup. See lineup options for ways to utilize your lineup. If you are forced to play with 8 players in pool play, it will not be an out for the 9 th position. If at any point during bracket play you start or finish with 8, the 9 th position will be considered an out. 11. Sample Lineup Options for tournament games a.
