IMPORTANT INFORMATION SKI LESSONS AVAILABILITY- Peak season dates such as Xmas/NY and Chinese New Year (Feb16 - Feb 24) book out early. Other dates can also experience limited availability. To avoid disappointment please pre-book your lessons as soon as possible. TERMS & CONDITIONS- Please familiarize yourself with the terms and conditions for the ski schools at the end of this guide. If you have a later flight it is strongly recommended to depart Niseko at 10am rather than wait around. The New Chitose Airport has extensive shopping, restaurants and entertainment areas. Due to limited availability, it is not possible to adjust your pick up time of your private transfer to an earlier departure. These passes can be used at Niseko Grand Hirafu & Hanazono. This comprises of approximately 60% of the Niseko United ski area and includes the snowboard terrain park and access to the peak. They cannot be used at Niseko Village and Annupuri. A refundable deposit of 1,000 per pass will be added to these prices All lift passes are non-refundable once activated Day passes include night skiing during night skiing season Dec 9 Mar 18 Children 6 or under can ski for free ( 1,000 is required for card deposit).

Ski & Snowboard Hire Choose from one of our preferred partners. If no preference is given, the default rental company will be Larry Adler. Located 50 meters from the Ace Family Lift Free overnight storage including boot storage. Unlimited gear swaps between skis and snowboards. Unlimited swaps between model types in the platinum range so guests can try different models as snow conditions change. Customers can pick up their gear from 2.00pm prior to the rental start date and can return up to 10.00am the day after the rental ends. Kids Ski Free* offer for rentals of 5 days or longer. GoSnow Powder Guiding Explore everything the Niseko United resort has on offer and find all the hidden treasures of the Niseko United Gate System with one of our experienced and knowledgeable guides. Our aim is to take the guess work out of your day, and choose the best and safest terrain for you to have the best Niseko powder experience. We have the following tours available. 1. Private Guide This is for powder hounds that want to ski / ride backcountry. This product offers a flexible start time between 0830 1000. We recommend starting as early as possible to get the best tracks - Quickest route to the top is via the Gondola! Price is a flat rate for 1-4 guests. A tail guide will be necessary for groups of 5-6 guests. While you can choose your guide s discipline, your tail guide may be on either skis or board. Our guides will bring you to the best snow out the Gates and leave you craving Niseko s famous powder! 2. Group Guided Tour If you are wanting to safely explore the Niseko United Gate System and access all the legendary Niseko Powder in a small group environment then the Group Guided Tour is for you. On this full day tour, we will group you with a maximum of 4 powder hungry riders who are a minimum high intermediate to advanced level with prior powder experience. Tours can be mixed discipline and your guide could be on skis or a snowboard. To help up to plan the best experience for you, please fill in the Powder Guiding Registration Form prior to your arrival in Niseko. Please use the below skills chart to see which of the Niseko gates your GoSnow Guide can take you to.

Terms and Conditions GoSnow 1.Payment for your lesson constitutes acceptance of our terms and conditions; you and the participants who are named on the lesson bookings agree that snowboarding and skiing are hazardous sports. GoSnow and employees cannot be held liable for any lost or stolen equipment, accident, injury, or injury resulting in death that occurs before, during or after your lesson. 2. Lift passes are obligatory and are not included in the lesson price. They are required for all lifts including the magic carpets. 3. Please arrive with your Snowsports gear and lift ticket ready to use. 4. Payment for all lessons must be made in full prior to start of the lesson. 5. Lessons will not be extended or rescheduled due to the late arrival of the guest for any reason. 6. No compensation can be made for weather conditions or other operational conditions outside of the control of GoSnow. 7. To be eligible for any refund due to sickness or injury you must present a valid local medical certificate within 24 hours of your lesson. 8. You must have and you agree that you do have valid Travel Insurance which covers you for accident or injury while skiing. 9. A 20% deposit is required within 7 days of your reservation and the outstanding balance is due no later than two weeks prior to your lesson start date. GoSnow reserves the right to cancel any lessons which have not be paid by the due date. 10. Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the commencement of the lesson will incur a 100% cancellation fee. 11. Cancellations made 48 hours to 7 days prior to the commencement of the lesson will incur a 20% cancellation fee. 12. GoSnow reserves the right to review and cancel any bookings which do not meet our booking terms and conditions for that product in the case of a booking being automatically confirmed by the system. 13. All lessons are fixed to the lesson location accepted at the time of booking. If the client would like to change the location the booking will revert back to a request and will become subject to normal lesson availability at that location. Private Lessons 14. Private lessons can be transferred with at least 24 hours notice to another person. Note that changing between ski and snowboard is possible with 24 hours notice and is subject to availability. 15. All full day lessons have a flexible start time between 0830 and 1000. 16. All Half Day and 2 hour lessons must meet at the private lesson meeting flag at the base location selected at the time of booking. Location choices are at the Hirafu Gondola or Family Base areas. 17. All of our private lessons must start in Grand Hirafu ski resort and ski the Niseko United resort. We are unable to start at any other resort location. 18. All participants must be of the same or similar ability level and must be on the same equipment (No ski and board mixed privates). 19. GoSnow will not book family privates with children under the age of 6. If you would like to book a family private, please talk to a member of our team. 20. All private lessons including children aged between 3-6 years are subject to approval by the Snowsports Manager. 21. GoSnow will only provide privates to children under the age of 3 years in a one on one environment. 22. Full Day Private Lessons are for 6 continuous hours and must take a minimum of 30 minutes break during the day at a time of your choice. Lunch is not provided. 23. You can request a specific instructor however we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate your request.

Group Lessons- General 24. Are non-transferable, except in the case of illness or injury. 25. Group lesson participants must arrive for registration 15 minutes prior to the lesson start time. 26. No refund or reschedule of lessons can be given for any guests who arrive after the lesson has commenced 27. First Timer to Novice levels will require a Grand Hirafu/Hanazono lift ticket. Intermediate to advanced levels will require a Niseko United lift ticket. Please note your lesson may stay in the Hirafu/Hanazono area and GoSnow is not liable for any refunds in ticket prices should this occur. Adult Group Lessons 28. Workshops are available from the Gondola Base only. 29. Minimum level for Workshops is advanced (excluding Women s Workshop). If your ability does not fit, you will be moved to an adult group lesson. The difference in price will be refunded. 30. Full day group lessons will take a 1 hour lunch break, usually 1230-1330. Lunch is not provided. 31. First Timer Pack participants must arrive to collect their lift ticket and rental vouchers no later than 8:30 am on the first day of lessons. Children s Group Lessons 31. Registration for kids group lessons is 0900. All parents must sign a children s registration form prior to the first lesson. The registration forms part of our terms and conditions. 32. All children must be toilet trained to take part in lessons with GoSnow. We cannot accept any children that are still in diapers. 33. Helmets are required for all children who take part in our group lessons. 34. Children are required to have full day lift tickets. No points or hour passes can be accepted. 35. Lunch is provided for full day group lessons only. Food can be ordered for children with food intolerances if ordered 48 hours in advance. Please note we cannot provide food for children with severe allergies. 36. Lessons are fixed to the start location booked at the time of reservation, changes to the location will be subject to availability at that location. Powder Guiding 37. The areas that the Guide will take you depend on: Weather conditions Snow and avalanche conditions What gates are open allowing access to out of resort areas Your skill level Where you want go 38. Your safety is our main priority, GoSnow guides have the final decision on where is safe for you and your group to ski/board. 39. Tours will only be rescheduled if the lifts are not operating. 40. You must follow the direction of GoSnow guides, including respecting the Niseko Rules and Alpine Responsibility Code at all times 41. Please note that the Gates for access to out of resort areas are controlled by the resort Ski Patrol. Gates are scheduled to open at different times of the day and season, but opening of each Gate is always subject to weather and snow conditions. 42. Children must be at least 13 years old to take part in our Guide products that go out of the Niseko gates. 43. Half-day tours cannot access some backcountry and resort areas due to time constraints. If skiing/riding the peak is your goal a full day tour is recommended. 44. The client accepts that touring in the Niseko backcountry is a dangerous activity, and while our guides take utmost care, there is additional risk involved in touring the alpine backcountry areas. The guest accepts that no liability will be held to GoSnow, our employees or Grand Hirafu Resort in the event of accident, injury or death. 45. The client accepts that in the event of an accident, the client will be responsible for all costs associated with their recovery. 46. You must have and you agree that you do have valid Travel Insurance which covers you for accident or injury while skiing in out of the Niseko United Resort Boundaries

NISS Cancellations of fully paid reservations made more than 15 days or more prior to the commencement date will receive full refund. Cancellations of fully paid reservations made more than 48 hours prior to the commencement date will be refunded 80% of the paid value. Cancellations of fully paid reservations made within 48 hours of the commencement date will not be refunded. Cancellations of fully paid reservations made within 48 hours of the commencement date will only be refunded in the event of illness or injury whereby the guest must present a medical certificate from a local hospital or local physiotherapist stating the dates the guest was incapacitated. The refund will be offered only to the guest whose name appears on the medical certificate. NISS lessons will operate regardless of weather conditions and lift operations. Compensation cannot be made for weather or operational conditions outside the control of NISS. In the case of inclement weather, the instructor will choose suitable terrain which may require travel by shuttle bus to other parts of the resort or remaining in flat, sheltered areas. NISS will not be held liable for any accidents that occur before, during or after the lesson/ tour. NISS lessons will not be extended or rescheduled due to the late arrival of the guest for any reason. Group lessons commence at 10:00am at Hanazono. Guests arriving after 10:00am may not be able to join the group or reschedule their lesson. Lift passes are obligatory for all guests and are not included in the lesson price. - Grand Hirafu Lift Passes are recommended for levels 1-3 and - All Mountain Lift Passes are recommended for Level 4-5 guests Requests for particular instructors cannot be guaranteed. In the event that a requested instructor is not available, NISS reserves the right to allocate another instructor without providing notice to the guest. NISS reserves the right to place guests into the group that best suits their ability level. Multi-day lesson packages must be taken on consecutive days. Guests will not be granted a break day during a multi-day package. Extension rates are only available for lessons taken within 24 hours of the completion of a 3 or more-day package. Additional lessons purchased after a 1, 2 or 3-day package will be charged at the original price with no discount offered. NISS strongly recommends guests have comprehensive travel insurance to cover unexpected costs incurred by travel delays, injury or illness. Where you do not use Guest Services that you have purchased and booked with us we cannot offer any refund in whole or part. 2. If your arrival or departure time or date changes due to delayed or cancelled flights or any other reason we cannot refund for any service that has been scheduled in accordance with your written instructions provided to us 14 days prior to arrival. 3.
