SEASON TICKETS - THE LOWdowN 18.39 ADULT PRICES 18.39 PER MATCH 13.35 SENIOR PRICES 13.35 PER MATCH 10.00 UNDER 23 S PRICES 10.00 PER MATCH PRICE BAND RESTRUCTURE Ipswich Town FC have restructured all concessionary price bands for the upcoming 2017/18 season. These new price bands ensure that the Club falls in line with full-time and further education and more closely with the state retirement age for senior citizens. The increased age bands for junior fans and young adults will ensure that the younger Town fans can continue to follow Town for the cheapest possible rates up until the age of 22. The Club have previously maintained the lower senior citizen qualifying age of 60. Town have done so as one of only a very few Championship clubs in current operation but having reviewed the structure of qualifying age bands across the board - and to fall in-line with society in general - have taken the decision to increase the senior concessionary rate to 65. Season ticket holders affected by this restructure will be contacted separately to outline a subsidised annual rate for the 2017/18 season. NEW CARDS FOR NEXT SEASON The Club will be issuing brand new season cards to all season ticket holders for the 2017/18 season. These cards will be issued to all season ticket holders before the start of the new season. Please continue to use your current season card until the match with Sheffield Wednesday FC on 29th April 2017. INTEREST FREE PAYMENT PLANS We are delighted to continue the interest free Direct Debit payment scheme for all applications for the 2017/18 season. There are no additional administration fees added to applications of this nature. Fans already enrolled on a Direct Debit payment scheme for the current 2016/17 season will see their season ticket automatically renewed before the Early Bird deadline date, with their monthly payment plans being adjusted to reflect the applicable rates for the new season. New Direct Debit payment scheme applications made by Monday 17th April 2017 will ensure the cheapest monthly plan rates, spread evenly over 12 equal payments. The first payment will be taken from the specified account details on Monday 8th May 2017, with subsequent payments taken on the 1st working day of every month from 1st June 2017. Applications may be made at any time post-early Bird deadline. These applications will be spread over a shorter period, increasing the monthly payment due. ADMIN FEES REMOVED The Club have removed all additional purchasing fees associated with buying a season ticket in-store and by postal application. Previously, an additional levy was charged for both of these services. However, to ensure fans are given every opportunity to purchase their season ticket for the cheapest possible rate, these admin fees have been removed on applications for the 2017/18 season. 5% DISCOUNT when TOWN S target is hit The Club will activate a 5% refund on the price paid for your season ticket once the target of 12,750 season tickets sales, for the 2017/18 campaign, has been hit. The deadline for all applications which will contribute towards this target figure is Friday 4th August 2017. The amount you could be refunded is detailed in the price tables on pages 4 & 5 of this booklet. CONCESSION PRICES Ipswich Town FC offer a range of concession priced tickets, shown on pages 4 and 5. Documentary evidence, such as a photocopy of a birth certificate, passport or a driving licence is required for all under 12s, under 19s, under 23s and senior citizens (65yrs+). Applications accompanied by the relevant identification for a concession priced season ticket must be provided before the season ticket is mailed out by the Club. Supporting identification can be posted to the Club s stadium address for the attention of the Ticket Office, or emailed to mainticketoffice@itfc.co.uk. Please make sure any supporting identification communication notes the customer number on the copy of the document. The Club reserves the right to request proof of qualification for concession tickets through the season. The qualifying date for concessionary price bands for the 2017/18 season used by the Club is 10th August 2017. Concessionary applications must fall within the relevant age price band on this date. ACADEMY ASSOCIATION Town season ticket holders will once again have the option to support the Club s Academy through the Academy Association Friends Scheme. You can opt-in via your application/renewal form to let us know that you wish to have this additional contribution added to the cost of your season ticket. Our team will then contact you with regards to this when processing your application. ACCESSIBLE TICKETS Portman Road offers an array of wheelchair accessible areas for season and match ticket purchasers. Areas offering season ticket availability are marked with the wheelchair icon in the pricing tables on pages 4 & 5 in this brochure. Those fans requiring ambulant access to the stadium can purchase tickets in any area of the stadium. The Sir Bobby Robson stand, Sir Alf Ramsey stand and East of England Co-operative stand have assisted lift access to upper tiers. Fans requiring accessible tickets should be aware of stairwells in both the lower and upper tiers. The Ticket Office team will be happy to discuss the layout of the stadium and assist with questions and queries on access. Disabled Adult fans purchasing a season ticket for the 2017/18 season can do so at the concession price rate. Senior concessions, young adults and junior concessions will be processed at the relevant rate. To qualify, supporters must be in receipt of the PIP (previously known as DLA) at either the enhanced or standard rate Care or enhanced rate Mobility. A proof of disability registration form needs to be completed. These are available from the Club on request. CUP SCHEME REMINDER Town remind current season ticket holders that the previously operated automated cup scheme is no longer in use. All fans must purchase their match ticket for home draw cup fixtures. FROM THE GAFFER I m the first to admit that this season has not gone as well as any of us would have hoped and I ll sit down with TC and the staff at the end of the season and analyse why that has been the case. The challenge for us is always to finish the season as high as we possibly can. The January transfer window has helped us, with the players we brought in freshening the place up and giving everyone a boost. Results and performances have certainly improved since then, although we have not picked up as many wins as we deserved in that time. Good performances will help build bridges with you the supporters and we know we ve got to do that. Our relationship with you is vital. We have got to work at it so you feel good about the team and the Club. That s what we will continue to do because we all want the same thing - a successful Ipswich Town Football Club. Mick McCarthy FROM THE MD We recognise that we need more young fans to join us at Portman Road so we have put in place an U23s ticketing strategy for next year at affordable prices. The restructuring recognises particularly those in education, with tickets priced at just over 5 per game with a season ticket for all those in secondary school, college or starting a traineeship or apprenticeship. U23s, who are just out of education or apprenticeship, are able to attend for just 10 per game with a season ticket. We have introduced an U12s season ticket at 50 but with rewards points that means this cost could come down to just 4 for the season. Furthermore, if the sales target of 12,750 season tickets is hit, this season ticket could cost as low as 1.50, the equivalent of 6 pence per game. having a competitive wage structure and careful use of our transfer budget on developing players. In addition, the concession pricing is to move from 60 to 65. As explained in this leaflet, we have been putting off this restructuring but we are one of very few clubs in the Championship to have concessionary pricing starting at 60. However, those fans impacted by the increase to charge full adult pricing will have the additional cost for their first year subsidised by 50%, with the cost of the season ticket not rising to the full adult price until 2018/19. Finally on behalf of the owner and everyone at Ipswich Town Football Club, I d like to thank you for your support in what has been a difficult season. We are proud that we have managed to do something meaningful for young people so that they can come to professional football games at pricing that is way below many other types of entertainment. Regrettably we have had to increase the adult ticket prices by 1.5% (just under current RPI). This is to fall in line with the strategy set out in the New Year by our owner.
