We will do our best to make your participation in the 4A Region II Soccer Tournament an outstanding experience. All of the items listed below are very important to the operation of the tournament. Participating players will be admitted in uniform. Only players and coaches will be admitted on the field. 2. Each team will be provided 10 complimentary tickets for the regional semi final. You can e-mail me those names and we will put them on a pass list, or you can choose to pick up the 10 tickets at the coaches meeting Friday morning. The winning team from each semi final contest will be provided an additional 10 complimentary tickets for the regional championship match.
3. UIL rules will be enforced throughout the tournament. The game balls and tournament officials are secured through the UIL. 4. There will be no workouts for participating teams on the field. 5. There will be a mandatory meeting of the head coach of each team on Friday at 10:00 a.m. in the Home Dressing Room, which is located at the north end of the field. 6. Water and ball shaggers will be provided for each match. 8. Admission prices are as follows: Adults $7.00 Student $4.00 Anyone leaving the stadium must purchase another ticket upon returning. The following passes will be accepted: THSCA, TGCA, TASCO (no district passes). 9. There will be no entry fee for the tournament. However, should there be a deficit at the end after all revenue and expenses have been calculated, participating teams will be billed back. 10. The home team dresses in the home locker room at CHRISTUS TMF Rose Stadium. The visiting team will dress in the visitor s locker room. All fans, both home and visitors, will occupy the home side bleachers in the stadium which are opposite of the team benches. 11. Tyler ISD and CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Rose Stadium policies will be followed. This includes but is not limited to the following items being prohibited in the stadium: balloons, confetti, outside food and drink. Tyler ISD staff will make decisions as needed regarding the entrance of any items into the stadium. If you have any questions regarding this policy, it is recommended you call in advance. Hand held signs in good taste are allowed. 12. The playing field at CHRISTUS TMF Rose Stadium is a Safe Play artificial playing surface and conforms to NCAA rules and standards. The following is NOT allowed on the playing field: Metal-cleated shoes Vehicles Live mascots Confetti Spectators Glass containers Tobacco, sunflower seeds, gum, and similar type products Chairs Additionally, water and electrolyte drinks are the only liquid allowed on the field.
13. One official school video camera per team will be provided a space in the press box. Parents will be allowed to video from the bleachers. They must not interfere with other spectator s opportunity to view the match 14. Spirit sign banners for each participating school will be allowed. They may NOT be taped to the concrete walls or fences. All spirit signs must be attached to fences with grommets. Victory lines inside the fence will not be allowed. Noisemakers are prohibited under UIL rules. 15. Outside food and beverage will NOT be allowed in the stadium due to a school district contract. We appreciate everyone honoring this request. 16. Submit your complete roster form and current record (including playoff victories) to the tournament director prior to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5 th. 17. The football field is available for warm up by the next two teams playing. Tournament pre-game and warm-up time will be provided on the clock for the main field. We will ask the participating teams to line up in the center of the field 10 minutes prior to the match for introductions. The National Anthem will be played prior to the opening of the tournament on Friday and before each of the two championship matches on Saturday. 17. Starting lineups will be announced prior to each game. 18. Tournament pairings are determined by the UIL bracket. The bottom team in the UIL bracket will be the home team and will wear white/light jerseys.
